MCC NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Schedule OUT, Check complete details here
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for the special stray vacancy round of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling for the academic year 2024 after the reductions of the cut-off up to the 5th percentile for all candidates.
All the NEET PG eligible candidates informed that some seats are still lying vacant due to Non-Joining/ Non-Reporting after the completion of Stray Vacancy Round of PG counselling 2024.
As per the schedule, the registration and choice filling will commence tomorrow i.e. 06th March 2025, processing of seat allotment will start on 10th March 2025, results will be published on 12th March 2025 and candidates can report to the allotted colleges from 13th March 2025.

Meanwhile, for All India Quota, Deemed and Central Universities & State Quota Seats the admission process to the stray vacancy round of the NEET PG counselling 2024 will commence on 6th March 2025 and will end on 20th March 2025.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATEs
1 Candidates who are ‘Not Holding/joined’ any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-PG Counselling, 2024 of All India Quota/State Quota/ Deemed University.
2 Candidates having a percentile score of 5% and above (for all categories)
INELIGIBLE CANDIDATEs
1 A candidate already allotted & joined a seat in AIQ/State Counselling/ Deemed University.
2 A candidate who had been allotted a seat by MCC in AIQ Round-3 & Stray Vacancy Round earlier but did not join the allotted seat.
The rules for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is as under-
1 Fresh Registration will take place in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates will have to do Fresh Choice Filling for the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
2 All AIQ Registered candidates irrespective of their category are required to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000 for participation in the Special Stray Vacancy Round for exercising choices for Govt. seats.
3 Candidates registered for Deemed Universities will have to pay the Refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 3,00,000 to exercise choices for Deemed University.
4 Refundable Security Deposits of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited and they will not be eligible to take the NEET PG exam for next year i.e NEET -2025.
5 Candidates who will be allotted seats in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will have to report at the allotted Institute and join the seat with their original documents within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule.
6 The list of candidates who have been allotted seats in the AIQ Special Stray Vacancy Round will be shared with state counselling authorities and such candidates will be debarred from taking admission in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of state counselling.
7 Candidates participating in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will have to furnish an undertaking concerning the allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on the MCC portal.
