MCC Notifies on Security Deposit Refund for NEET Counselling 2024 Candidates

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice for the candidates regarding the Refund of Security Deposit for Undergraduate (UG) Counselling for the academic year 2024.
Through the notice, MCC has informed all the candidates who participated in UG Counseling 2024 that the security deposit of all the candidates eligible for a refund as per the rules and regulations / counselling scheme of MCC has been refunded by the financial custodian. On this, the list of candidates whose refund process has been done has also been released.
Meanwhile, candidates are advised to note the following-
1 Refunds have been sent to the same account / Card from where the security deposit was remitted to MCC.
2 The refund will be credited to the candidate's account between 1 to 15 days depending upon the level of automation in the candidate's bank.
3 If there is an inordinate delay in crediting the refund, the candidate should take up the matter with the "Grievance Cell" of his/her bank quoting the refund reference.
Moreover, the list includes important details such as Roll No, Refund, Refund ARN, Bank ref. No and Refund Date.
In the meantime, the prestigious MBBS entrance exam NEET for this academic year's admissions will be conducted on May 4, 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registrations for interested candidates and the process will conclude on March 7.
NTA has reverted the National Eligibility-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 exam question paper pattern and exam duration to the pre-COVID-19 format. This means there will be no section B in the question paper this year, so there will be a total of 180 compulsory questions and candidates will get only 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours to attempt each question.
