NBE reopens application window for only practical component of DNB Final exams December 2025, details
New Delhi: Through a notice, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the reopening of the online application window for the "Only Practical" component of the DNB Final Examination December 2025 session.
The decision comes after NBEMS received multiple representations from candidates requesting another opportunity to apply.
NBEMS had earlier invited applications for Theory & Practical as well as Practical exams. Therefore, according to the notice, following candidate requests, the Board has now allowed a fresh window exclusively for the “Only Practical” exam category. Hence, NBEMS has confirmed that the online application window for “Only Practical” will be open from tomorrow, i.e. 4 December 2025, 3:00 PM to 17 December 2025, 11:55 PM.
However, candidates who have already submitted their applications successfully earlier are not required to reapply, ensuring that only those who missed the initial deadline need to take action.
NBEMS is scheduled to conduct the DNB Final December 2025 theory exams on December 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2025. The exam will be held in a computer-based mode across designated exam centres. This exam is conducted twice a year, in June and December, by NBEMS.
