Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has invited online applications for NEET UG for the academic year 2022-23. 

Detailed schedule –

1. Online PIN purchase from the website of the admission committee – till 14th October 2022, 4:00 pm

2. For Online Registration - till 14th October 2022, 4:00 pm

3. Documents Verification and Submission photocopies of Documents at Help Center – 4th October 2022, 2:00 pm till 15th October 2022, 5:00 pm

Procedure for online registration –

1. Purchase PIN through the website: http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx by online payment of Rs. 200/- (Non-refundable). After purchasing a PIN, candidates have to start the registration process.

2. For the online registration process candidate has to click the "Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic" button. A new window will appear on the computer screen. Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic.

3. Click on "Candidate Registration/Login." A new window will appear on the computer screen. ["Candidate Registration/Login"].

4. To register as a new candidate, click the "Click here for New Registration" button. By doing so, the New Registration window will be displayed on the computer screen.

5. Enter 'Serial number of PIN (5 digits, received in your mobile/email)', '14-digit PIN', 'Email Address,' 'Mobile No.', 'Roll No. (NEET Roll No.') and 'Captcha Image' in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered; if every detail is correct, click the "SUBMIT" button.digit User ID and 14-digit PIN are important parameters to login into your account for all future processes, so save them carefully. Then, the "Online Registration Form" window will be displayed on the computer screen.

6. The candidate must fill up personal details in the format displayed in the "Online Registration Form." The candidate's 'Serial number of PIN' will appear as LOGIN/USER ID. After that, the candidate must enter a password using at least 6 (six) and a maximum of 12 (twelve) alphanumeric characters. Then, re-enter the same password at the space marked as "Confirm Password." The candidate must use the same Login ID, PIN, and password for future login. So, the candidate has to remember the password for subsequent login.

7. If the candidate is from the SEBC category, they have to fill up the date of issuance of the Non-Creamy-layer certificate issued by the competent authority of Government of Gujarat.

8. If the candidate also wants to participate in 15% AIQ seats of BAMS / BHMS in SFI institutes in Gujarat state, they must tick "Yes" in the blue box. This applies to candidates who are non-domicile of Gujarat state. The candidates born in Gujarat / Domicile of Gujarat are automatically eligible for these seats.

9. Verify the entries made and if every detail is correct, then choose the  "I Agree" option at the bottom of the form if the declaration is acceptable. If the candidate selects the "I Agree " option, he will be allowed to click the "SUBMIT" button. Registration will not be completed if any mandatory information is not filled. In s such cases, the incomplete fields will be highlighted by '*' with red colo, o a message will be displayed. Provide incomplete information and click the "SUBMIT" button. OTP will be generated and will be sent to your Registered Mobile.

10. After entering OTP, click on "Save Changes." A new window will appear on the computer screen. "Save Changes."

11. By doing so, the page entitled "Registration Details" will be generated. Click the "EDIT/CONFIRM APPLICATION" button. The "Online Registration Form" will appear with already filled details which the candidate can edit. After editing, the candidate has to verify the details entered and if every detail is found correct, click the "Confirm Registration Details" button. No changes to registration details will be allowed after this!

12. After registration, candidates must upload documents per registration details as shown in the below screenshots according to category. Upload documents (readable photos) which are .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg or .png format only by clicking on "Choose file" > select photo / document you what to upload > click on "Upload" button > Your document will be uploaded. You can delete the photo if you want to change the photo > click on the "Delete" button and repeat the same procedure to upload the correct photo. Choose and upload all documents as given in "Sr. No."

13. Candidate can take a prior appointment for the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at Help Center after uploading documents. First, candidates can select the Date, time slot, and Help Center for Document Verification. After that candidate can take a print of the Registration Slip. The candidate then has to submit the "Registration Details form," produce relevant original documents & submit self-attestedphotocopiesphoto copies at the appointed Help Center compulsorily.

14. The candidate can make an appointment for Document Verification after clicking "Document Verification Appointment" under the "REGISTRATION DETAILS" button.

15. The candidate has to confirm registration details after all necessary information is filled in correctly and upload scanned copies of documents. Click on "Confirm Registration Details." After confirmation, a box will appear showing "REGISTRATION CONFIRM SUCCESSFULLY."

16. The candidate will be able to take print of the "Registration Details" only after clicking "Registration Details" under the "REGISTRATION DETAILS" button. The candidate can click the "Print Your Details" button to print the "Registration Details" page.

17. Registered candidates can log in again in the future by filling in the information in the red box.

18. For the confirmation of registration at the Help Center, all candidates have to take print of the "Registration Details" (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents (as per the list mentioned at the bottom of the Registration Details) should be attached with the Registration Details. Both candidates, as well as the parent/guardian of the candidate, have to sign the Registration Details at the space provided compulsorily. For candidates of SC/SEBC/ST/EWS/PwD category, the candidates must submit 02 copies of the caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate.

19. The officer at the Help Center will verify the Registration Details and self-attestedphotocopiess of relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain the Registration Slip and set of self-attested documents and issue the Registration Slip with signature and seal to the Candidate. All candidates must verify all Original Documents at Help Center and obtain a Registration Slip, without which the candidate shall not be eligible for further admission.

Eligibility –

Gujarat Board / CBSE / ISCE / Cambridge University / National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) students who have qualified NEET-UG of the current academic year and passed SSC and HSC Examination (Science B/AB Stream) from Gujarat State and Domicile of Gujarat / born in Gujarat state and eligible as per admission rules of Gujarat State has to visit the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx from anywhere through the internet for online registration procession.

NRI candidates –

1. The candidate can obtain a PIN from designated branches of the Designated Bank by paying Rs. 200/- (non-refundable). The details of the branches of Designated Banks are given on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org. In addition, a PIN can be purchased online from the website: www.medadmgujarat.org also.

2. For The candidate applying for NRI Quota, document verification, and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

3. After online application, they have to submit a Demand draft of Rs. 10,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of "ACPUGMEC," payable at Gandhinagar" as a processing fee at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only, at the time of verification of documents. The application will not be considered for admission if the demand draft is not submitted.

4. Admission to NRI quota seats at Medical / Dental Colleges will be finalized based on the merit list prescribed under the rules.

Eligibility criteria NRI –

1. A candidate shall be a Non-Resident Indian or Their parents, or in the absence of their parents, their legal guardian shall be NonResident India.

2. The candidate must have obtained minimum qualifying marks in 12thStandard as per the regulatory Council.

3. The candidate should have appeared in the NEET-UG-2022 examination and declared "Qualified."

4. A candidate shall have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st December of the Academic Year for which the admissions are being conducted.

5. "Provisional Eligibility Certificate" should be obtained from the concerned University within one month of admission.

Documents to be submitted NRI –

1. Demand draft in favor of ACPUGMEC, payable at Gandhinagar of Rs. 10,000/-

2. Print-out out the Online Application

3. School Leaving Certificate / Transfer certificate

4. Document showing the place of birth

5. 10thstandard mark sheet

6. 12thstandard mark sheet / Equivalent Examination mark sheet.

7. Transcript – for abroad students who have passed 12th from foreign boards/universities, other than Gujarat board, CBSE board, ICSE board, other state boards of India, NIOS board.

8. If the grades are mentioned in the subjects in the HSC / equivalent mark sheet, in that case, the candidate has to submit the Marksheet or valid document issued by the concerned competent authority showing obtained marks / total marks OR percentage of marks for both theory and practical in all subjects.

9. Equivalence Certificate – for abroad students who have passed 12th / equivalent examination from foreign boards/universities other than Gujarat board, CBSE board, ICSE board, other state boards of India, and NIOS board.

10. NEET-UG-2022 Examination Mark Sheet.

11. Domicile certificate of Gujarat state (If the candidate is eligible for GQ+ MQ+NQ & Born outside Gujarat state)

12. Local quota certificate issued by Dean, Smt. NHL municipal medical college, Ahmedabad or Dean, SMIMER, Surat (If the candidate is eligible for GQ+ MQ+NQ)

13. Caste certificate [For SEBC, SC, ST category by Authorities of Gujarat State only]

14. Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha '4' in Gujarati) (issued after 01-04-2020)

15. EWS certificate (Issued by competent authorities of Gujarat State only issued after 01-04-2020)

16. Medical fitness certificate as per the given format on the website

17. Passport (Notarized colorphotocopiess of all pages, including blank Pages) of NRI student/NRI Parents. (Important note: Page numbers should be legible on all pages, including blank pages)

18. Old passport (Notarized colorphotocopiess of all pages including blank Pages) of NRI student/NRI Parents) if a new passport is issued in 2021 or 2022. (Important note: Page numbers should be legible in all pages, including blank pages)

19. OCI (Notarized Color Photocopy) / Document/s for Proof of Origin (PIO card) (Notarized Color Photocopy)

20. Resident permit (Notarized Colour Photocopy)

21. Resident identity card (Notarized Colour Photocopy)

22. Visa permit (Notarized Colour Photocopy)

23. P.R. Card (Notarized Colour Photocopy)

24. Citizenship card (Notarized Colour Photocopy)

25. Address proof - Indian & Foreign (Notarized Colour Photocopy)

26. Undertaking regarding the fees from NRI Student/Parent (on 300 Rs. Stamp paper), as per the given format on the website
