NEET 2023: Here are Top Medical Colleges in Punjab For MBBS Admissions

Punjab: MBBS admissions are a state-centralized online counselling process in Punjab. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is the authority to conduct the counseling process for admissions in the medical colleges across the state.

MBBS course is available both in government and private colleges. NEET UG is the qualifying exam for admission to medical colleges.

For 2023 the counselling schedule and other details are yet to be announced. It will be notified once the final results are declared for NEET. This year the NEET exam was conducted on 7th May 2023 nationwide. The provisional answer key has been declared on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The final results are yet to be announced.

A total of 2 rounds will be conducted along with the mop-up round for the MBBS admission process. A stay vacancy round will be conducted if needed only when all the seats available are not filled up till the mop-up round. The candidates must fill in their choices based on their college preferences during the counseling process. The seats will be allocated based on the NEET UG scorecard, choices filled, reservation criteria, and seats available.
