NEET 2025: KGMU issues SOP for MBBS, BDS Admissions, Here's what you need to know!

Uttar Pradesh- Through a notification, the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) has issued a Standard Operating Procedure for Admission in MBBS and BDS Course for the academic year 2025. The standard Operating Procedure includes important information such as reporting, required documents, admission formalities, fee details, final admission and other information.

As per the notification, all the candidates should complete the prescribed University forms available at the admission counter. Complete the admission process by filling out the forms as provided by the institution. Candidates must undergo a medical examination organised by the institution. Submit original documents for verification. Candidates must register and submit the admission fee on the Samarth Portal via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI only. However, no other modes of payment will be accepted.

For new registration, candidates need to visit the Samarth Portal, therefore, candidates should process and complete the New Registration through the said portal. After registration, log in to the portal and fill out the required form and also upload the following documents-

1 Photo.

2 Signature.

3 ID Card.

4 NEET Score Card, etc.

Along with this, for the All India Quota & Central Pool Quota candidates need to pay Rs 46,600 and for the State Quota, the Unreserved Category candidates should pay Rs 46,600 and OBC/SC/ST Category candidates should pay Rs 37,600.

All the candidates who have been allotted into the MBBS and BDS course through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraudate (NEET UG) 2025 in King George's Medical University, UP, Lucknow are required to report to the Kalam Centre, King George's Medical University, UP, Lucknow within the specified time frame with the necessary documents.

Meanwhile, during the reporting process, candidates must bring certain important documents for the verification and admission process. However, it should be ensured that all the documents are complete and correct. Below are the documents candidates must bring along with one set of self-attested copies-

i Admit Card (NEETUG-2025).

ii NEET scorecard (NEETUG-2025).

iii Allotment Letter (NEETUG-2025).

iv Copy of Aadhar Card.

v Copy of PAN Card.

vi High School Mark sheet and Certificate.

vii Intermediate Mark sheet and Certificate.

viii Category certificate (if applicable).

ix Sub-Category certificate (if applicable).

x Recent Passport-sized photographs with a white background(12).

xi Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate (Mandatory).

xii Character Certificate.

xiii Domicile Certificate(if applicable).

Moreover, during the course selection, candidates allotted the MBBS/BDS course should select Undergraduate Programmes and choose a course, then submit. Following this, the online admission will be confirmed after completing all formalities, including reporting, verification, and fee payment.
