KEA has requested the candidates to save the entered options using the Save & Submit button and take a printout of the saved options. The candidate should not leave the option entry portal without proper logout. They should always click the Logout link to log out.

There is no limit to the entry of options for the candidates. KEA records the options recorded on the last day of the schedule and considers them for the allotment of seats. Round 2 seat allotment will be conducted based on the final options submitted by the candidates and based on merit. After which, the round 2 seat allotment results will be published. Candidates note consequential vacancies that arise during the allotment after the candidate merit/turn cannot be claimed.

A seat allotment list is prepared based on the merit of a candidate and the choices filled by the candidates. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the counselling and wish to continue with the same seat need to confirm their choice on the official website of KEA.

Only NEET qualified candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can participate in the counselling.

Candidates need to keep checking the website http://kea.kar.nic.in for updates.

NEET UG counselling is held online for admission across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. The counselling comprises two rounds and a mop-up round which is conducted if any seats are left vacant after round 2.

Karnataka Examinations Authority is governed by the Governing Council headed by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education and GOK.
