NEET Counselling 2023: MCC reactivates seat resignation process

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS has informed about the reactivation of seat resignation facility for NEET counselling candidates.

Earlier, the counselling body had told the candidates that the candidates who did not get upgraded in Round-2 and wanted to resign their seat of Round-1 can do so within the period 02:00 P.M of 19.08.2023 upto 06:00 P.M of 21.08.2023 without forfeiture of Security Deposit after which they will be considered as part of Round-2 and same rules will apply on them as applicable for Round- 2 of counselling.

However, now in view of the above, the resignation module has been reactivated and is available upto 05:00 P.M of 31.08.2023.

Any resignation after the deadline will be treated as ‘Exit with Forfeiture’ of fees.

Candidates are advised to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online (through portal provided by MCC by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
