NEET Counselling 2024: MCC notifies on Eligibility for Stray Vacancy Round, check details

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the eligibility criteria for candidates wishing to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round of NEET UG Counselling 2024 for MBBS and BDS Admissions.

All the concerned candidates are advised to take note of the following Eligible Criteria for the Stray Vacancy Round:

The Eligibility of candidates for Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling to be conducted by MCC and State Counselling may be noted as under: 

 Candidates who are not holding any seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2024 to be conducted by MCC.
 Candidates who did not join their seats allotted through MCC in Round-3 are ‘Not Eligible’ to participate in Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2024 of MCC. However, ‘Not Reported’ candidates of Round3 of MCC counselling can participate in state UG counselling.
 Candidates who have joined State quota seats through earlier Rounds are not eligible to participate in Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2024 of MCC.
 The Security Deposit of candidates who do not join their allotted seat in Stray Vacancy Round will be forfeited and such candidates will be debarred from taking NEET exam for the next year.
 The Data of Joined candidates of Round-3 conducted by MCC will be shared with state counselling authorities and such candidates will be debarred from taking admission in state quota counselling.
 Candidates may contact State Counselling Authorities for any information regarding state quota seats counselling

Medical Dialogues recently reported that the MCC began the Stray round yesterday and asked all the state counselling authorities to share the data of joined candidates of all rounds held so far on the intramcc portal provided by MCC latest upto 05:00 P.M of 25 October 2024 so that candidates holding a seat in state colleges are weeded out before seat processing of Stray Vacancy Round of All India UG counselling being conducted by MCC.
