NEET Counselling: DME Tripura to hold Offline Stray Vacancy Round On 29th September

Tripura: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has announced the conduction of an offline stray vacancy round of NEET UG 2023 counseling for allotment of remaining state quota seats of MBBS, BDS, and BHMS seats.

The offline stray vacancy round is to be held on 29-09-2023 (Friday), 11 am at the Directorate of Medical Education, Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala.

All the eligible intending already registered (round-1 and/or round-2 and/or mop-up round) candidates are invited to attend the counseling at least one hour before the start of the counseling for the enrollment signature in the attendance register, which will be deemed as registration for the stray vacancy round. There will be no need to submit registration fees again. The eligible candidates are instructed to be present physically and bring all the original documents with four passport-sized photos with them.

Required original documents and one photocopy of each of those to be submitted on call during offline counseling -

1. Age Proof Certificate (Birth Certificate/ Class-X Admit Card/ Class-X Pass Certificate.

2. NEET 2023 Admit Card.

3. NEET 2023 score Card.

4. Caste Certificate (If applicable).

5. Mark Sheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination.

6. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRTC) / Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.

7. 04 (four) copies of recent colored passport-size photographs.

The original certificates are mandatory to claim eligibility for participating in the counseling. Allotments of seats will not be considered to the candidate is not physically present and/or does not possess the original certificate along with them in the stray vacancy round counselling.

All the allotted candidates in the counseling shall have to submit the necessary bonds at the Directorate of Medical Education, Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala, collect nomination from DME, and proceed for admission.

The last date of admission at TMC and RIMS is 30-09-2023. The last date of admission to other Institutions has not yet been communicated. However, candidates are instructed to get ready to take admission to those Institutions at the earliest.

Seats vacant –

A total of 6 seats are vacant for the stray vacancy round. MBBS has 3 seats, BDS has 1 seat, and BHMS has 2 seats vacant. The college-wise detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

The reserved category seats may be distributed from the common merit list or as per the decision of the Directorate /Department of ST and SC Welfare, Government of Tripura, in the event of non-availability of specific eligible reserved category candidates in the stray vacancy round.
