NEET counselling: Maha CET Cell releases schedule for state quota mop up round, Details

Maharashtra : Through a recent notice, the Maha CET Cell has released the schedule for mop up round of NEET counselling session for state quota seats of MBBS and BDS courses.

The Competent Authority has decided to conduct State Quota MOP UP Round - I as per the schedule given below. This round will include Newly Permitted Seats, seats available due to Not Joining/ Cancellation of allotted seats after 2nd round.

Note: For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/ colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.

 Admission to Dr.N.Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science, Bhivpuri Station Road, Diksal, Karjat, Raigad are subject to outcome of Writ Petition No.2433/2022, dated 04/03/2022 in Hon'ble High Court Mumbai.

 Admission to Annasaheb Chudaman Memorial Medical College, Dhule are according to the order of Hon'ble High Court, Mumbai Bench at Aurangabad in Writ Petition No.1280/2022, dated 04/03/2022.

 Admission to Bharatratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College, and Teaching Hospital, Pune will be carried out during this MOP UP Round - I.

 Filling of Status Retention Form Submission:

1) If a candidate who has been allotted a seat WISHES to participate in next/subsequent round(s) - SHOULD NOT FILL STATUS RETENTION FORM.

2) If a candidate who has been allotted a seat DOES NOT WISH to participate in next/subsequent round(s) - SHOULD FILL STATUS RETENTION FORM.

3) Filling of Status Retention Form is choice of candidate. Institutes/Colleges SHOULD NOT FORCE candidate to fill Status Retention Form

 If a candidate is not able to submit DD due to Bank Holiday, he /she may pay the fees by Cheque and replace the same on next Bank working day.

 As per Rule No.12 of NEET-UG-2021 Information Brochure, last prescribed date for cancellation of admission to MBBS/BDS course is 30/03/2022 upto 05.00 pm. Penalty as per Rule No. 14 will be applicable for the candidates, cancelling the admission to MBBS/BDS course after this prescribed date (i.e. 30/03/2022 after 05.00 pm)

The schedule for subsequent rounds will be published in due course. The aspiring candidate should follow the website of State CET Cell website, www.mahacet.org
