Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has opened the final edit window for applicants of NEET-PG 2023. The list of candidates who need to correct the images in the application and image upload instructions has also been released.

The applicants will be allowed to rectify the incorrect images in their applications till 20th February 2023, up to 11:55 pm, starting from today (18th February 2023). This option is provided to the applicants because, under the closure of the edit window, it has been noted that some candidates have still not uploaded their photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions as per the prescribed Image Upload Instructions.

Incorrect images can be edited any number of times before the closure of the selective and final edit window. The last submitted information will be saved in the records. The image upload instructions are detailed in the NEET-PG 2023 information bulletin. Said instructions were notified vide NBEMS notice dated 09.09.2022 as well. The image upload instructions are enclosed in the notice below.

All applicants for NEET-PG 2023 should go through the Image Upload Instructions carefully. Please be apprised that uploading images in the application form which are not in accordance with the guidelines prescribed or failing to rectify the images in the edit window/final edit window shall invite rejection of the application. No further opportunity may be extended to rectify the incorrect images.


The following are the reason for rejections –

1. Incorrect Captured Photograph/Incorrect Uploaded Photograph –

2. Photograph older than 3 months

3. Lack of light in the room

4. Not using white/light coloured background

5. Overexposed/underexposed photo

6. Absence of formal attire while taking the photo

7. Objects behind you while capturing the photograph

8. Blurred image; Poor image quality

9. Eyes closed/not looking into the camera

10. Eyes not visible due to glare on spectacles

11. Black and white photograph

12. Uploading photograph showing it on a mobile phone

13. Cropped photograph from a group photo

14. Does not contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view; Side pose taken/selfie uploaded

15. Defective hue of the photo

Incorrect Signature –

1. Blurred signatures

2. Signature in capital letters

3. Signature on ruled page

4. Initials only; Not complete signatures

5. Whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for signatures

Incorrect Thumb Impression –

1. Pressed too lightly

2. Pressed too hard

3. Too much ink

4. Not enough ink covering the entire fingertip

5. Center loop and/or Deltas not legible

6. Whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for the impression
