MCC Announces Results Of NEET SS Special Mop-Up Round
Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the results of the NEET SS special mop-up round.

Candidates, whose category or quota has been changed in the same institution and subject are required to get an online-generated relieving letter and get admitted to the changed category or changed quota seat from the allotted institution. Such candidates must get fresh online generated admission letters for the changed category or quota seat; otherwise, the assigned seat will be cancelled due to non-admission.
There has been a reduction in the percentile for Super Specialty counselling for the academic year 2022, and all candidates above the 20th percentile became eligible for SS counselling (for DM/ MCh/ DNB SS Courses) in compliance with the directions of competent authority. Hence, a special mop-up round was conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS in compliance with the schedule directions uploaded on the MCC website.
Candidates not holding any seats in previous rounds (Rounds 1 & 2) were eligible to participate. And those who had already allotted & joined a seat in previous rounds were not eligible to participate. Those allotted seats will have to report at the allotted Institute and join the seat with their original documents. The security deposit of candidates who do not join their allotted seats will be forfeited per the counselling policy.
The Medical Counselling Committee is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allows seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility, and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
