NEET PG 2026: NBE extends selective edit window, issues list of candidates who need to correct applications
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has given the NEET PG 2026 applicants a final opportunity to correct defective photographs, signatures and/or thumb impressions in their application forms.
NBEMS observed after the closure of the earlier selective edit window on August 10 that several candidates had still not uploaded their images in accordance with the prescribed Image Upload Instructions.
According to the notice by the NBE in this regard, the selective edit window will remain open from 1:00 PM today, i.e. August 12, 2026, to 11:55 PM on August 15, 2026.
The Board has warned that candidates who fail to rectify the defective images during this final window may face cancellation of their NEET PG 2026 applications.
Candidates whose photographs, signatures or thumb impressions have been found defective can make corrections during the following period-

NBEMS has categorically stated that no further opportunity will be provided to rectify incorrect images after the window closes.
NBEMS said it has already communicated the status of rejected images to affected candidates through email.
Applicants have therefore been advised to regularly check the email account registered in their NEET PG 2026 application. Candidates must also ensure that both their registered email address and mobile number remain active until the completion of the examination and the related counselling and admission process.
Candidates can also check whether their photograph has been approved or rejected by logging in with their credentials on the NBEMS website.
The notice also provides a link to the list of candidates who need to correct their images in their NEET PG 2026 applications.
