NEET PG Admissions 2024: AFMS Extends Document Submission Deadline for Medical Officers, Priority IV Candidates

New Delhi- Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has extended the last date for submission of documents by Medical Officers and Priority IV candidates for postgraduate courses (MD/MS/DNB) through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 exam in AFMS Institutes for the academic year 2024.

As per the notice, in this regard, the last date of the submission of documents is now extended till 31 Jul 2024 upto 01:00 pm. Earlier, the last date was scheduled till 15 Jul 2024.

Priority-IV Candidates desirous of attending AFMS PG admission 2024 are required to forward a scanned copy of certain documents by e-mail with the subject ‘NEET PG ROLL NO XYZ: PRIORITY-IV ADMISSION THROUGH NEET PG-2024’. The documents to be submitted by the Priority-IV Candidates are as follows-

DOCUMENTS

1 NEET PG-2024 Admit Card.

2 Copy of release order from AFMS by DGAFMS/ Concerned Medical Directorate/ NOC.

Along with this, Candidates of the Priority-IV should also specify the following in the e-mail-

1 E-mail ID registered for NEET PG-2024 with NBE.

2 Mobile No registered with NBE for NEET PG-2024.

3 Alternate Mobile No.

Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) conducts postgraduate training primarily for the doctors of the Armed Forces Medical Services to fulfil the specialist requirements of the Armed Forces Medical Services. Surplus seats, if any, are offered to sponsored candidates of Friendly Foreign Countries, Para Military organizations/ other Govt of India organizations, Ex- SSC Officers of AFMS, and civilian doctors.

This year's NEET-PG 2024 examination, was previously scheduled to be conducted on June 23 2024. However, the PG medical entrance test will now be held on 11th August 2024 in two shifts.

SCHEME OF NEET-PG 2024

The NEET PG exam comprises 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 options in English only. Candidates are required to select the correct answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. the examination time to complete the paper is 3 hours and 30 minutes. There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
