NEET PG counselling: DME Gujarat begins stray vacancy round allotment, 48 MD seats vacant after round 4

Gujarat: The Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has begun the 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round Allotment and Reporting for MD, MS and Diploma admissions for the academic year 2025-26.

The advertisement applies to all eligible candidates included in the ACPPGMEC Merit List seeking admission under Government and Management quota seats in Government and self-financed medical colleges across Gujarat. As per the advertisement, the online Payment of Tuition Fees process has already started from 24 February 2026. Following this, the reporting at the Help Centre starts from today, i.e. 25 February 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-

Candidates must complete tuition fee payment and reporting within the prescribed timeline to confirm their admission. The 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round marks one of the final opportunities for eligible NEET-PG 2025 candidates to secure admission in postgraduate medical courses under Gujarat state counselling.

Additionally, the ACPPGMEC Government of Gujarat has also released the updated list of vacant seats after Round 4 counselling for MD, MS, Diploma and DNB admissions for the academic year 2025-26.

As per the list, a total of 48 MD seats remain vacant under the Government Quota (GQ) across multiple government medical colleges in Gujarat. According to the list, the vacancies are distributed across six MD disciplines.

All 48 seats fall under the Open (OP) category of the Government Quota, with no vacancies reported under SC, ST, SEBC, or EWS categories. The vacancies are spread across leading government institutions.

With 48 MD seats still vacant after Round 4, eligible NEET-PG 2025 candidates may receive another opportunity during subsequent counselling updates or special stray vacancy rounds. Below is the detailed seat vacancies-
