NEET PG, MDS Counselling 2022: DME Gujarat releases lists of non reported candidates, details

Gujarat: Round 1 of PG Medical and PG Dental counselling has been concluded. The allotted candidates were asked to report by 8th October 2022. But many candidates for both courses have not reported. The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has released two lists of non-reported candidates. One list is for PG Medical, and the other is for PG Dental.

1561 PG Medical candidates and 213 PG Dental candidates were allotted seats. PG Medical courses have the maximum number of candidates non-reported compared to PG Dental courses. PG Medical has 565 candidates, and PG Dental has 80 candidates who have not reported.

The academic term for PG Medical courses will start on 20th October 2022. So, all the candidates who are admitted & completed the admission confirmation process, i.e. Payment of fees & Submission of original documents to the Help Centre of ACPPGMEC & getting an admission order from the Help centre have been requested to join their admitted institute on or before 20th October 2022.

Eligibility criteria for admission in MD/MS/Diploma/CPS & MDS courses for the academic year 2022-23 –

1. The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS or BDS course from a university established under any law of the Government of Gujarat and situated in the State of Gujarat.

2. The candidate must have completed the recognized MBBS or BDS course from a university established under any law of the Government of India and situated in any State / Union territory of India / Out of India subject to fulfilling the Eligibility criteria of NMC, New Delhi/ Govt. of India and must have passed 12th qualifying examination with "B- group" or "AB-group" either from (a) Gujarat Board OR (b) from Central Board of Secondary Education/ The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination Board/ The International School Board (International Baccalaureate and Cambridge)/ The National Institute of Open Schooling provided that school is located in the state of Gujarat and must be born in Gujarat state/ be the Domicile of Gujarat state.

3. The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st July 2022.

The Government of Gujarat constituted Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counselling process fairly and transparently.
