New Delhi: As of now, no specific reservation policy exists at the central level for AYUSH graduates seeking admission to MBBS courses through NEET- MoS Health recently stated before the parliament.
She was asked whether Government is aware that many Ayush graduates aspire to pursue MBBS by qualifying NEET-UG and completing the full 5.5-year course; it has taken note of Kerala’s provision of limited MBBS seats from the State quota for Ayush graduates through NEET-UG merit; a similar provision under the All India Quota is under consideration; and whether a national policy is proposed in this regard.
