Kashmir: In a boost to healthcare infrastructure, North Kashmir will soon get its first Ayurvedic medical college. The government has decided to establish the institution in Sopore.
This announcement was made recently during the ongoing budget session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
The local MLA Irshad Rasool Kar described the move as "historic and happy" and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Speaking to KashmirLife during the session, MLA Kar said, "The promises made by the CM during election rallies and his statements about giving special attention to Sopore are now bearing fruit. I am sincerely grateful to him for this."
