Delhi: NEET UG 2023 is scheduled for 7th May 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to release the admit card for the candidates. However, before the admit card exam slip will be released. The exam slip is likely to be released this week.

The exam slip will be released on the official website of NTA https://neet.nta.nic.in./. The candidates can download their exam city slips by entering their registration number and date of birth.

The admit card is expected to be released 4 days before the NEET UG exam, scheduled for 7th May 2023 from 02:00 pm to 05:20 pm (Indian Standard Time) as an ordinary and uniform entrance Test throughout India as well as in cities outside India. The admit card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions. The candidate must download the admit card from the NTA website and appear for the examination at the given centre on the date and time indicated in their admit card.


The question paper will include 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions. It will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The paper will be of a total of 720 marks. 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and 20 minutes.

NEET UG is the qualifying exam for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BSc (H) Nursing courses. According to registration statistics, 20.87 lakh candidates have applied for the crucial exam, over 2.57 lakh more than last year. The gender gap too breached the two lakh mark, with 11.8 lakh female candidates registering, which is 2.8 lahks more than male candidates. The number of male candidates is 9.02 lakh. The maximum registrations are from Maharashtra, followed by Uttar Pradesh.
