PG medical, Dental admissions in Gujarat: Registration Process For 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round to end tomorrow

Gujarat: The registration process is ongoing for the 4th online stray vacancy round for admission in first-year postgraduate MD/MS/Diploma & MDS courses for the academic year 2023-24 in Gujarat.

Detailed schedule –

1. Online Pin purchase for online registration – up to 11-10-2023 02:00 PM

2. Online Registration & Documents Upload – up to 11-10-2023 04:00 PM

For online registration, PIN can be purchased online on payment of Rs. 3000/- (Non-refundable) + Rs.25,000 (Refundable Security Deposit) =Total Rs.28,000/-.

NRI - Candidates who have purchased an online PIN by paying Rs.28000/- in round 01 or round 02, or round 03 and have not done online registration/ documents verification & not submitted photocopies of documents at the help center after completing online registration need not purchase online PIN again. They only have to do online registration & document upload only.

After online Registration, the candidate has to upload the required documents. No need to do document verification and submission of photocopies of documents at the help center.

Candidates, who are qualified in NEET-PG-2023 and are eligible as per respective council and admission rules of Gujarat State, only for those candidates who have not registered in round 01 or round 02 or round 03 or who have been allotted a seat in round 02 but their admission have not been confirmed (exited with forfeiture of refundable security deposit) and have not registered in round 03 can apply.

The process for online registration –

For online form registration candidate has to click “Medical, Dental, CPS diploma” under “Post Graduate Admission” A New window will appear on the computer screen.

Click “Log-in for Post-Graduate Medical Admission” button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on “Purchase PIN” to purchase an online PIN. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

Click on “Candidate Registration/Login” to start the registration process. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

To register as a new candidate, click the “Click here for New Registration” button. By doing so, a new registration window will be displayed on the computer screen.

Enter ‘Serial number of PIN’, ’14-digit PIN’, ‘E-mail Address’, ‘Mobile No.’, ‘Roll No. (NEET Roll No.’) and ‘Captcha Image’ in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered, and if every detail entered is correct, click the “SUBMIT” button. Then, the “Online Registration Form” window will be displayed on the computer screen.

. The candidate has to fill up personal details in the format displayed in the “Online Registration Form”. Candidate’s ‘Serial number of PIN’ will appear as LOGIN/USER ID. After that, the candidate has to enter a password by using at least 6 (six) and a maximum of 12 (twelve) alphanumeric characters. Re-enter the same password in the space marked as “Confirm Password”. For future login, the candidate has to use the same Login ID, PIN, and password only. So, the candidate has to remember the password for subsequent login.

. Verify the entries made, and if every detail is found correct, then choose the “I Agree” option at the bottom of the form if the declaration is acceptable. If the candidate selects the “I Agree” option, he will be allowed to click the “SUBMIT” button. In case any mandatory information is not filled, then registration will not be completed. In such cases, the incomplete fields will be highlighted by ‘*’ with red color or a message will be displayed. Provide the incomplete information and click the “SUBMIT” button. OTP will be generated and sent to your Registered Mobile.

Click on “Save Changes”. A new window will appear on the computer screen. “Save Changes”.

By doing so, “Registration Details” will be generated. If any corrections are required, then click the “EDIT/CONFIRM APPLICATION” button. The “Online Registration Form” will appear with already filled details which can be edited by the candidate if needed. After editing, the candidate has to verify the details entered, and if every detail is found correct, then go for “Upload Documents”. After uploading the required documents, click the “Confirm Registration Details” button. No changes to registration details will be allowed after this. Now if any change is required will be done at the help center before verification. Candidates are instructed to upload all the required documents before confirming the application.

Now After registration candidate has to upload documents as per registration details as shown in the below screenshots according to category. Upload documents (readable photos) which are PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG format only by clicking on “Choose file” > select photo you what to upload > click on “Upload” button > Your document will be uploaded. You can delete the photo if you want to change the photo>click on the “Delete” button and again do the same procedure to upload the correct photo. Choose and upload all documents one by one as given in “Sr. No.

The candidate then has to submit “Registration Details” and all relevant original documents & self-attested photo copies at the appointed help center, compulsorily.

The candidate will be able to take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Re-Print Registration Slip”. OR The candidate will be able to take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Registration Details” under the “REGISTRATION DETAILS” button. The candidate can click the “Print Your Details” button for printing the “Registration Details” page.

For the confirmation of registration at the help center, all candidates have to take print of the “Registration Details” (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents (as per the list mentioned at the bottom of the Registration Details) should be attached to the Registration Details. Both the candidate, as well as parent/guardian of the candidate have to sign the Registration Details at the space provided compulsorily. In the case of candidates of SC/SEBC/ST/EWS/PwD category, the candidates have to submit 02 copies of the caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate of each.

The officer at the help center will verify the Registration Details and self-attested photocopies of relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain the Registration Slip and set of self-attested documents and issue the Registration Slip with signature and seal to the Candidate. It is mandatory for all candidates to verify all Original Documents at the help center and obtain a Registration Slip, without which the candidate shall not be eligible for further admission process.

Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG) have to upload scanned copy of the NBE screening exam marksheet during document upload and have to verify the original document at the help center.

FOR IN-SERVICE CANDIDATE: As per the GR no: MCG/1004/650/J, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar dated 10/01/2022, Ten percent (10%) of Government quota seats in Postgraduate subjects of MD/MS courses in Government Medical Colleges, CPS/DNB courses in Government District Hospitals and DNB courses in GMERS Medical Colleges in (1) Pediatrics, (2) TB & Chest, (3) Obstetrics & Gynecology, (4) Preventive & Community Medicine, (5) Orthopedics, (6) General Surgery, (7) General Medicine, (8) Anesthesiology, (9) Radiology, (10) Pathology subjects, shall be reserved in each category for In-service doctors of Gujarat State.”.

For NRI category candidates: The candidate applying for NRI Quota, document verification, and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. The instructions for NRI candidates are available in detail on the DME website.

FOR PwD (Persons with Disability) candidate: All candidates, who are applying for the PwD quota, have to appear for an examination for disability to the Medical Board of ACPUGMEC. Only a Disability Certificate issued from a Medical Board of ACPUGMEC will be considered. No other PwD certificate issued by any other Authorities/Hospital will be entertained.

List of original documents to be uploaded & verified –

1. Final year attempt-wise MBBS (3rd MBBS Part II)/ BDS marksheets

2. Copy of NEET-PG Marksheet of the current academic year

3. Internship completion certificate on or before 11/08/2023

4. Provisional Registration of State Medical / Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of State Medical/ Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates)

5. Document showing Date and place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate--compulsory for all candidates & Birth Certificate/ Passport--If birthplace not mentioned in School leaving certificate/Transfer Certificate)

6. For SEBC, ST, and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

7. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2021

8. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2021

9. For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority

10. Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

11. 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat)

12. Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat (only if birthplace is outside Gujarat)

Important instructions for online registration –

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in MD/MS/Diploma/MDS courses up to round 03 & have confirmed their admission. They will not be allowed to participate in any subsequent rounds of All India Quota/ State Quota counseling for MD/MS/Diploma/MDS courses. And their admission will not be canceled under any circumstances. And they will not be able to do a new registration in the 4th online stray vacancy round.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in MD/MS/Diploma/MDS courses & not confirmed their admission in round 03 and exited with forfeiture of Refundable security deposit are not eligible to participate in the 4th online stray vacancy round. They will not be eligible to do fresh registration in the 4th online stray vacancy round.

Candidates who have purchased an Online PIN by paying Rs.28,000/- in round 01 or round 02, or round 03 and have not done online registration/ documents verification & not submitted photocopies of documents at the help center after completing online registration need not purchase online PIN again. They have to do online registration & upload the required documents. After that, they have to do document verification & submit photocopies of documents at the help center.

Candidates who registered for round 01 or round-02, or round 03 and did not get any seat allotted in round 03 are not required to register again in the 4th online stray vacancy round. They can do a choice filling in the 4th online stray vacancy round with their older registration.

In the 4th online stray vacancy round, only those candidates can do fresh registration, who have not registered in round 01 or round 02 or round 03 or who have been allotted a seat in round 02 but their admission has not been confirmed (Exited with forfeiture of refundable security deposit) and have not Registered in round 03. Only these candidates can do fresh registration after purchasing an online PIN by paying Rs.28,000/- from the admission committee website.

Preparation and publication of merit list -

After the registration process, ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare a merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

Online choice filling & allotment of admission –

After the merit declaration, the choice filling will be initiated online for each round. After the choice-filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process for allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website. The candidates can view their status of allotment by logging into their own User ID.

Payment of tuition fees –

The candidate has to pay the requisite amount of tuition fees by cash/DD at any of the designated Axis Bank branches or through online payment within the time limit specified by the ACPPGMEC.

1. Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC

2. Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) fees at Axis Bank

3. All year attempt-wise MBBS / BDS marksheets

4. Internship completion certificate on or before 11/08/2023

5. Copy of NEET-PG Marksheet of the current academic year

6.
