TN Health notifies on inclusion of new seats in NEET PG stray vacancy round, details

Tamil Nadu- Through a recent notice, TN Health has informed about the inclusion of new seats in NEET PG stray vacancy round.

According to the notice issued in this regard, St Peter's Medical College, Hospital and Research Institute has added a total of 2 seats in the stray round of counselling seat matrix. The seats have been added in the MD DVL - M.D. Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy course, where 1 seat each has been added for state and management quota.

With this, the candidates are requested to be diligent and re-choice fill / re-choice lock for seats and alter their choices as required.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu (TN Health) has commenced the stray vacancy round counselling for the PG Degree/Diploma courses in Management (Including Minority and NRI) and Government Quota seats in self-financing medical colleges and 70% seats of Christian Medical College for the session 2024-25 session. The process has also started for the DNB Post Diploma & Post MBBS 2 Years Diploma Courses and DNB-Broad Speciality Post Diploma Courses in TN Government Medical Colleges for the session 2024-25 session.

As per the tentative stray vacancy round counselling schedule, the registration and choice-filling process has already begun on 20th February 2025 and will end on 24th February 2025. Following this, the Result will be declared by 25th February 2025.

In addition, at the time of registration, the candidate has to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs.2,00,000/- for Management Quota including Minority/NRI category seats in self-financed medical colleges (no need to pay again if already paid). For Government Medical Colleges, Rs.30,000/- and for Self-financed Medical College, Rs.1,00,000/-.
