TN Health Releases Tentative Counselling Schedule for MBBS, BDS Admissions for Special Categories, details

Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN) Health has released the tentative counselling schedule for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical and Dental Colleges for special categories for the academic session 2024-25.

As per the schedule, the counselling for special categories is scheduled for tomorrow i.e., August 22, 2024. The counselling is divided into 3 timings for Eminent Sports Persons, Children of Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.

The counselling for the special categories will take place in the lecture hall– II, Tamil Nadu Government Multi-Super Speciality Hospital. Candidates should be present one hour prior to the commencement of counselling along with one of their parents at their own cost. Below is the detailed tentative schedule-

DOCUMENTS

Candidates are requested to bring the following original certificates/documents without which the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling-

1 NEET UG 2024 Admit Card and Score Card.

2 10th Std Mark Sheet.

3 11th Std Mark Sheet.

4 HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet.

5 Certificates for proof of study from 6th Std. to 12th Std. for the candidates who have studied completely in Tamil Nadu.

6 Transfer certificate from the school last studied (or) a Bonafide certificate should be produced from where the candidate is undergoing the course at present.

7 Nativity Certificate.

8 Community Certificate.

9. Any one of the Parent’s Community Certificates (either father or mother).

FEES

Candidates should produce a Demand Draft payable at Chennai for Rs.500/- drawn in favor of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai – 10” at the time of counselling as a processing fee.

Also, candidates should bring the Demand Draft towards the Tuition fee as prescribed in the fee details below and produce the Demand Draft at the time of getting the provisional allotment order. If Candidates do not bring the Demand Draft, a facility for the same has been arranged at the venue of counselling.
