TN Health To Begin Round 2 PG Medical Counselling 2024, check Tentative Schedule
Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN) Health has released the tentative round 2 counselling schedule for the Postgraduate (PG) Degree/Diploma courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges, Government Quota Seats, Management including Minority & NRI quota seats in self-financing colleges and 20% and 50% seats of Christian Medical college for the 2024-25 session.
As per the schedule, the round 2 counselling schedule for the PG Degree/Diploma courses will commence from tomorrow i.e. 14th December 2024 and will end on 28th December 2024. Below is the complete schedule-

Meanwhile, candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for PG Degree/Diploma Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs.1000/- for Government Quota. Along with this, at the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of – Rs. 30,000/- for Government Medical Colleges and Rs. 1,00, 000/- for Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges for Government Quota and Management Quota including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges have to pay Rs.2,00, 000/-. However, if already paid need not pay again.
CHOICE FILLING
1 Candidates should be careful while choice filling.
2 Candidates will have the option of choice filling for all the seats for which they have applied.
3 Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked they will not be allowed to edit. Hence candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.
4 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date their choices will be automatically locked.
VIRTUAL VACANCIES
1 Any Candidate who has been allotted a seat in Round 1 and has opted for re-allotment in Round 2, that allotted seat of Round 1 will be shown as a virtual vacancy in Round 2, any Candidates can choice lock for the said seat (virtual seat) during the choice filling in Round 2. However, such a seat will be allotted in Round 2 only if the allotted candidate of Round 1 vacates that seat. Thus, that virtual vacancy becomes a real vacancy and it is open to all in the order of merit.
2 Vacancy positions for the Courses will be available on the official websites.
3 The selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors and Procedural errors.
REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE
1 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of original certificates for verification
2 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
3 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, or mis-interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
