TN Health Notifies on Resignation Policy for Round 1 DNB, Post MBBS Diploma Seats, details
Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN) Health has issued a notice regarding the resignation of round 1 DNB Broad Speciality (Post MBBS, Post Diploma) and Post MBBS Diploma seats (2 years Diploma courses) Courses in Tamil Nadu Government Headquarters Hospitals, Sub-district Hospitals and Government quota for academic 2024-2025.
Through the notice, TN Health has notified about the resignation of the round 1 allotted seat without forfeiture of the security deposit and tuition fee. As per the notice, the joined candidates, who wish to resign their seats in Round 1 counselling can resign without forfeiture of Security deposit and Tuition fee till tomorrow i.e. 13th December 2024 at 12:00 PM only.
Candidates are further informed that the resignation process is entirely online and the candidates, who resign, have to download their Resignation Letter and submit the same to their allotted colleges for getting back their original certificates. However, no Offline resignation is allowed or accepted.
Meanwhile, candidates who give consent for re-allotment in Round 2 counselling and participate in Round 2, the Rules of Round 2 will apply since the candidate has exercised choices and participated in Round 2.
Round 1 joined candidates who neither participated in Round 2 nor resigned, will be considered as retained their seats and hence part of Round 2 after the stipulated date and time.
ATTENTION TO HOSPITALS/ INSTITUTIONS
Moreover, TN Health has also urged all the Hospitals / Institutions to issue the necessary instruction to concerned authorities to work on all Saturdays & Sundays and all Government Holidays till the end of the counselling period for the DNB Broad Specialty course for the academic year 2024-2025.
