TN MBBS, BDS Admissions : Check out revised round 2 counselling schedule
Tamil Nadu: Revised tentative round 2 counselling schedule for admission to MBBS/BDS degree courses in government medical/ dental colleges, government seats in self financing medical/ dental colleges and ESIC Medical College & PGIMSR, K.K. NAGAR, Chennai released, announces Director of Medical Education (DME).
List of candidates called for certificate verification will be released on 14th March 2022. Certificate verification will be done on 15th March 2022 and the result will be declared on 16th March 2022. Candidates can download the provisional allotment letter on 16th March 2022 and will have to report between 16th March 2022 till 19th March 2022.
Candidates who are participating the online counselling for MBBS/BDS degree courses will have to remit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.500. The amount can be paid online via debit card/credit card/net banking. Candidates who are already paid their processing fee in round 1 of need not to pay again.
Candidates should be carefull while choice filling. For seat matrix candidates needs to keep a track on website. The admission to candidates will be made by the online counselling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.
Candidates absent at the scheduled time and date of online counselling will not be considered for admission. Candidates who give a valid reason for absence, the selection committee can allow the candidate to attend the online counselling. The permitted candidates can only claim the course and college available at the time of online counselling when they attend. The choices, once locked, cannot be changed.
The candidates who are called for certificate verification should produce all relevant original documents at the certificate verification centre in the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the certificate verification schedule. The admission will be given only to candidates whose documents are verified. The center for verification and allotted college will be different. The selection committee will decide on center for verification if the preferred center given by candidate is not available.
For downloading the allotment order the selected candidate has to pay a non-refundable amount of tuition fee. The joining of the candidate has to be done in the time frame mentioned in the allotment order.
When joining the selected college, DME has requested the candidates to produce their original documents in person along with the scanned copy of original certificates. If the candidates don't report to the head of the allotted college on or before the time and date specified, their selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

The candidates who have already choice locked and waitlisted in self -financing medical or dental colleges in round 2 are eligible to choice lock for not allotted colleges and also eligible for waitlisted colleges in self financing medical/dental colleges for round 2.
DME has instructed the candidates who are willing to do choice locking for self financing medical/dental colleges to lock again.
