Delhi: University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) has invited online applications for MSc Radiography & Medical Imaging Technology.

Detailed schedule -

1. Last date for submission of the application form duly completed in all respect - 5th May 2023 (Up to 4:00 PM).

2. Download the admit card through the college website: i.e., www.ucms.ac.in - 15th May 2023

3. Date of entrance examination - 20th May 2023

4. Date for notification of the result by the University of Delhi – will be announced later on the college website

5. Date for holding the counseling for admission - will be announced later college website

6. Date of medical examination - to be notified by the college

7. Commencement of the academic session 2023-2024 - to be notified by the college

8. Closing date of admission - to be notified by the college

Application procedure –

The Prospectus/BOI will be downloaded from the college website, and the application form will only be filled out at the college website, www.ucms.ac.in and along with the requisite fee amounting to Rs.1500 (Rs.750 for SC/ST/PWBD) through online portal, i.e. (www.ucms.ac.in/common/onlinepayment).

The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, i.e., whether the candidates appear or do not appear in the examination on any grounds or their application is rejected. No correspondence/request on this matter will be entertained.

The candidate should take the printout of the filled application forms and take it for future reference. They do not need to send the hard copy of the application form to the college; it will be demanded during the counseling.

Incomplete application forms will not be considered. The college is not responsible for any technical glitch during the full-up of the form. All columns in the application form must be filled in carefully.

The following documents have to be attached along with the application form –

1. An attested true copy of Matriculation/Sec. School Examination certificate issued by the University/ Board showing the candidate's date of birth (No other evidence for the candidate's date of birth shall be accepted).

2. An attested true copy of the certificate of good conduct from the Principal/ Head of the College/ Institution last attended.

3. Candidates belonging to other backward classes (OBC category) should enclose the latest copy of the caste certificate.

4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD should attach a copy of the certificate for their claim.

5. Disability candidates, while applying for admission to the course, should enclose a copy of the Disability Certificate issued by a duly notified Medical Board of a District/Govt. The hospital was set up for examining physically challenged candidates under the provision of the person with a disability (equal opportunity protection of the right of full participation) Act 1995.

6. If a Person with a disability (PWD) candidate also belongs to SC, ST, or OBC category, they should also enclose an appropriate certificate and the application form.

Eligibility criteria -

The Indian national who has passed Bachelor's Degree in Sciences (three years course), Medical Technology (Radiography) and Medicine from a recognized University/recognized by the National Medical Council (Erstwhile Medical Council of India-MCI) respectively.

Competitive entrance examination –

1. All candidates found provisionally eligible per details stated under the eligibility criteria will be required to appear in the entrance examination, which the University of Delhi will conduct on 20th May 2023 (Saturday) at UCMS and GTB Hospital, Delhi110095. However, any candidate provisionally allowed to appear at the Entrance Test but found ineligible later in the admission process shall not be offered admission. The examination will be of 90 minutes duration and shall consist of one paper containing multiple choice questions. The medium of examination will be English.

2. Candidates will receive admit card from the college website (www.ucms.ac.in) on 15th May 2023 onward, which may be downloaded & get print on this admit card affixing their identical photograph, which has been used on the application form.

3. If candidates do not receive their admit card by college-website/e-mail or cannot download it, they can directly collect a copy of admit card from the Academic Section, Room No. 210, Second Floor, UCMS from 18th May 2023 on the production of valid ID proof.

4. No candidates will be admitted to the Examination Hall unless they hold admit card downloaded through college-website/e-mail or personally collected from the Academic Section, along with valid government ID proof such as Aadhar-Card/Pan-Card/Driving License/Passport/etc. Having their identical photograph.

5. Reporting time - 10.00 AM

6. Candidates to occupy the allotted seats - 10.30 AM

7. Issue of test booklets 10.45 AM (Candidates shall write their particulars on the cover page of the booklet in ink/ball pen without breaking the seal of the test booklet)

8. Breaking open the seal of the test booklet

9. Examination starts - at 11.00 AM

10. Examination concludes - at 12.30 PM

Seats – 6 seats are available for the session 2023-24.

Duration - The course is two academic years (divided into 4 semesters).

Reservation - The Reservation Roster for admission regarding SC/ST/OBC/EWS and PWD candidates will be followed as notified by the Government of the India/University of Delhi. The reservation will be followed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, candidates belonging to other backward classes (OBC) category, reservations under economically weaker section (EWS) applicants, and PWD- candidates belonging to the physically handicapped (PH) category. The details related to each category are enclosed in the notice below.

Security bond/surety bond money- The candidates should execute a "BOND" worth Rs.100000 with two sureties at their provisional admission in B.Sc. (Medical Technology) Radiography. The admission will not be valid until the candidate executes the Surety Bond. The Performa of Surety Bond is available on the website: www.ucms.ac.in.

The original certificates of the students would be kept in the custody of the college and would be returned only after completion of the course or on payment of Security Bond money, as the case may be.

Migration - No Migration (to and fro) is permitted in the Medical College at the University of Delhi.

Fee and other charges -

The fee for the course will be paid annually. Fees and other Charges for the course are to be paid in cash by the student at the time of admission to the college. The fee structure will be as follows: (Note: It is to inform you that the college is in the process of enhancing the College fee for the M.Sc. (R&MIT) Course, i.e., approximate 30,000/- annually after approval of the Competent Authority, hence the difference amount has to pay by the student in due course of time) –
