UP DGME notifies on virtual vacancies for NEET PG Round 3 Counselling Choice Filling, details

Uttar Pradesh- The Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education and Training (UPDGME) is going to close the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Round 3 counselling choice filling window for the academic year 2024-25 tomorrow.

In this regard, UPDGME has issued a notice informing all the candidates who participated in the third round of counselling of UP NEET PG 2024 that virtual vacancies could not be displayed to the candidates at the time of choice filling. The choices locked by the candidates have been unlocked. Therefore, all eligible candidates are directed to include the virtual vacancies in their choice filling and ensure to lock them by filling the choices again.

As per the notice, due to technical reasons, the option of Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) i.e. Virtual Vacancies could not be displayed to the candidates at the time of Choice Filling. “All the candidates who participated in the third round of counselling of UP NEET PG 2024 are informed that due to technical reasons, the option of Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) i.e. Virtual Vacancies could not be displayed to the candidates at the time of Choice Filling, in such a situation, the Choices locked by the candidates have been unlocked. Therefore, all the eligible candidates are directed to include Virtual Vacancies in their Choice Filling and ensure that they are locked by filling the Choice again”, the notice read.

Meanwhile, the UP NEET PG Round 3 counselling 2024 choice-filling process started on 27th January 2025 and will end tomorrow i.e. 31st January 2025, 11:00 AM. Following this, the result of the seat allotment will be declared on 03rd February 2025 on the official website of UPDGME. With this, the candidates can download the allotment letters and start the admission process from 04th February 2025.
