UP DGME Releases Round 2 NEET 2024 Counselling Schedule, Registrations Start From Sept 9

Uttar Pradesh- Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) is going to begin the 2nd round of online counselling for UP National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. On this, UPDGME has released the schedule for the 2nd round of online counselling for UP NEET UG 2024.

As per the schedule, the process of NEET UG 2024 counselling will begin on September 09, 2024, at 11:00 am and will end on September 25th, 2024. The candidates can register, upload the documents and deposit the registration and security money for the NEET UG counselling from September 09, 2024, at 11:00 am till 13th September 2024 till 02:00 pm.

It should be noted that the candidates who have deposited the registration fee of Rs 2000/- during registration in the 1st round of UP NEET UG 2024 counselling are not required to register again or deposit any registration fee to participate in the 2nd round of counselling. However, candidates who have registered themselves in the 1st round of counselling of UP NEET UG 2024 but could not deposit the registration fee, will have to deposit the registration fee or security amount to participate in the 2nd round of counselling.

Meanwhile, candidates who are participating in the 2nd round of counselling and who have not registered in the 1st round of counselling will be required to register themselves by paying the online registration fee of Rs. 2000/- on the official website of UPDGME. Along with this, the new candidates will have to deposit a security amount of Rs 30,000 for government seats, Rs 2,00,000 for seats in private medical colleges and Rs 1,00,000 for private dental colleges online. However, non-allocated, admitted and non-reported candidates of 1st round are not required to deposit the security amount again to participate in 2nd round of counselling.

Moreover, only those candidates will be eligible for choice filling whose original documents have been verified online and who have deposited the security amount. With this, such candidates whose records could not be verified online due to not uploading valid documents online on time in the 1st round of counselling or whose records were rejected due to not being found valid in the 1st round of counselling can get their records re-verified by uploading valid documents online at the time of registration for the 2nd round counselling.
