Along with this, UPDGME has also given information about important instructions regarding choice filling for the 1st round of UP NEET UG-2024. Below are the instructions-

1 Candidates desirous of taking admission in MBBS and BDS courses in private Medical, Dental, College and University of Uttar Pradesh are advised to make their choice only after obtaining complete information about the concerned college from themselves or their parents before filling the choice.

2 Candidates desirous of seeking admission to the seats of private medical and dental colleges are especially expected to comply with the entire fee structure charged by the minority, non-minority college, institution and university which is available on the official website of the Directorate General. Fill in the choice only after reviewing the information available on the UPDGME OR UPNEET official website.

3 Candidates are expected to fill and lock their choices only after perusing the important information regarding fee determination of non-minority institutions of the private sector.

4 In the 1st round of counselling under UP NEET UG-2024, only those candidates whose registration and security amount has been deposited by the prescribed dates and has been updated on the NIC server by the bank and their documents have been found valid after online verification, are eligible for the choice filling process.

5 Online choice will be filled by the candidate on the basis of preference for admission to seats in government or private sector medical colleges. The candidate should fill his/her choice only for those colleges in which he/she is interested in taking admission. However, there is no limit for online choice filling.

6 After locking the choice by the candidate, no change or alteration can be made to it nor will any application received in the Directorate General in this regard be considered.

7 It is mandatory to lock the choice after online choice filling. In case the choice is not locked, the candidate will automatically be out of the allotment process.

Moreover, at the time of counselling the students will be informed about the fees determined for academic session 2023-24, which would be the provisional fee subject to the final fee determined by the Committee.

Upon enhancement, the arrears would be payable by the students in instalments (half yearly/quarterly) depending upon the hike recommended by the Committee, which will also determine the number of instalments to be paid by the students.
