WBMCC Announces Tentative Counselling Schedule For NEET UG Mop, Stray Vacancy Round

West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) announced tentative counselling schedule for NEET UG mop and stray vacancy round for state, management, and NRI quota seats.

Detailed schedule –

Mop–up round –

1. Publication of seat matrix – 30th November 2022, 2:00 pm

2. Online Registration fee payment by the candidates qualified – 1st December 2022, noon – 3rd December 2022, midnight

3. After successful registration and fee payment, verification of candidates in the already designated college and time slot by the software (for NRI candidates, verification will be done at Swasthya Bhavan) – 2nd December 2022, 3rd December 2022, 5th December 2022 (11:00 am to 4:00 pm)

4. Publication of provisional list of successfully verified candidates – 6th December 2022, after 4:00 pm

5. Publication of final list of successfully verified candidates - 7th December 2022, after 2:00 pm

6. Online choice filling and choice locking by successfully verified candidates – 7th December 2022, 4:00 pm – 9th December 2022, 11:00 am

7. Result of provisional allotment of mop-up round – 13th December 2022, after 4:00 pm.

8. The reporting and admission of allotted candidates to the allotted institute with requisite original documents, requisite college fee, and bond after physical document re-verification (once successfully re-verified, they can get admitted in the allotted seat) – 14th December 2022, 15th December 2022, 16th December 2022, 17th December 2022 (11:00 am to 4:00 pm)

Physical stray vacancy round -

1. Publication of Seat Vacant List (if any) & at least 10 times the pooled vacancy of already registered non-allotted or non-reported candidates – 19th December 2022, after 4:00 pm.

2. Conduction of physical stray vacancy round – 20th December 2022, 21st December 2022.

The candidates note that this round has no new registration fee payment. Eligible candidates not holding any seat (non-allotted or not reported) will be considered for this round.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that WBMCC issued details about the PG Medical and Dental admission mop-up round. The mop-up round choice filling, choice processing and locking will start soon. The candidates can fill and arrange these choices in their choice basket per their wish. These choices shall only be considered for allotment when vacancies arise, and seat conversion occurs as per rule during the mop-up round allotment process. The candidates are therefore advised to fill choices carefully and not get confused.
