All Medical, nursing, paramedical Colleges closed until further order due to flood: DME Tripura

Tripura-  Through a recent notice, the Directorate Of Medical Education (DME), Tripura has notified that all Medical Colleges, Nursing College & institutes and all Paramedical Colleges in Tripura have been closed until further order due to the current flood situation

All the concerned candidates seeking to appear for the NEET admission process are advised to take note of the following details: -

"The Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura has decided all the Educational lnstitutions -Medical Golleges, Nursing College & lnstitutes and all Paramedical Colleges in Tripura under Government & Private Colleges and lnstitutes under Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura will remain closed until further order due to current flood situation," said the notice.

The Directorate of Medical Education under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura started its functioning on 15th October 2011. This Directorate deals with matters relating to Medical Education, like Medical Colleges, Regional Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges in Government and Private Sector, Nursing Education, Paramedical Education etc. The Post Graduate courses in respect of some medical colleges are conducted by this Directorate.
