Training Programme Structure
As part of mentoring, mentees will be exposed to training on specific topics common in health science research. The training programme consists of lectures, demonstrations, group activities, discussions, case studies, panel discussions with additional assignments and online reading materials.
The whole programme is divided into modules and there will be 7 modules covering basic and advanced biostatistics, research designs, research methods and concept of Evidence based medicine. All modules are interconnected and it is mandatory that all participants to attend all modules. We also make sure the involvement of stakeholders of research capacity building and research outcome beneficiaries in the research priority setting, design and implementation of the programme. The programme will be delivered by a group of very fine faculty members drawn from within and outside the institute.
