JIPMER Releases Guidelines for Tamil Nadu Medical Council Credit Hours Application for CME Program, details
Puducherry- Recently, a notice regarding instructions to apply for Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC) Credit Hours for the CME program to be conducted at JIPMER has been released by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Office of the Dean (Research).
Guidelines for determining the number of credit hours which will be done by the TNMC are-
1 The CME/Workshop will be for three hours i.e. half day duration – one credit hour.
2 The duration for one day CME Workshop shall be eligible for 2 Credit Hours.
3 One Guest Lecture by a foreign faculty of international repute shall be given for one hour.
BEFORE THE PROGRAM
1 Contact the TNMC accreditation help desk.
2 Enter the following details of the program for which credit points are being sought in the register-
A Name of the program.
B Dates.
C Department.
D Name of the Organising Secretary.
E Contact details.
F Mail ID.
3 Particulars of the CME proposed are to be uploaded on the dashboard from the Office of the Division of Research.
A Login to TNMC Account.
B Fill Program details.
C Attach Invitation copy and program schedule (Scanned Copy as PDF).
4 On Successful verification of the Programme, TNMC will mail the approved e-Certificate.
AFTER THE PROGRAM
1 The details are to be uploaded to the dashboard from the Office of Research. Login to the TNMC Account and choose the Approved CME Program.
2 Upload attendance- Speaker list and participants list (Format Attached).
3 Attach a scanned copy of the attendance List as a PDF- participants & speakers (Signed)
4 Payment to be done online (INR 75 per participant)
5 On Successful verification of CME, e-Certificate will be mailed to the individual participants' registered e-mail.
Lastly, it has been directed that for any queries one may contact the Research Department.
