NEET PG Admissions: CPS Mumbai Releases fee structure for Diploma, Fellowship courses, Details

Mumbai: College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPS) has announced the fee structure for NEET PG admissions to CPS courses this academic year for added and unaided institutions. 

As per CPS, the fees for government institutions, municipal corporation institutions or institutions run by local bodies in Maharashtra (aided institutions) shall be as per the GR. No. AMC- 1007/628/CR.148/07/Edu-02 Mantralaya Dated 1st March 2011 (subject to revision by the Govt. / appropriate authorities).

The candidates will have to pay Rs 103900 per year as tuition fee + development fee Rs 5000 + admission fee Rs 1500. The Gymkhana fee will be Rs 500, and the hostel fee per year will be Rs 4000.

Unaided private institution fees for the merit and institutional quotas have also been released. 

Diploma courses (Two years) courses include –

1. Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine & Surgery

2. Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics

3. Diploma in Child Health

4. Diploma in Pathology and Bacteriology

5. Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology

6. Diploma in Anaesthesia

7. Diploma in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (E.N.T.)

8. Diploma in Orthopaedics

9. Diploma in Psychological Medicine

10. Diploma in Medical Radiology & Electrology

11. Diploma in Tuberculous Diseases

12. Diploma in Transfusion Medicine

13. Diploma in Tropical, Medicine & Health

As per the notice, the CPS fee for candidates is Rs 85000, and for the merit quota it's Rs 600000 for all the above diploma courses. For institutional quota, the fee for Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology and Diploma in Medical Radiology & Electrology is Rs 1800000 and for the rest courses, the fee is Rs 1200000.

Fellowship Courses (Three Years) courses include –

1. FCPS in Medicine

2. FCPS in Surgery

3. FCPS in Midwifery and Gynaecology

4. FCPS in Ophthalmology

5. FCPS in Child Health

6. FCPS in Dermatology

7. FCPS in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT)

8. FCPS in Orthopaedics

9. FCPS in Anaesthesia

10. FCPS in Pathology

For the above fellowship courses, the CPS fee is Rs 95000, and the merit quota fee is Rs 700000. For institutional quota, the fee is Rs 2100000 for FCPS in Medicine and FCPS in Dermatology and Rs 1400000 for the rest of the above fellowship courses.

CPS has further notified that candidates will have to pay institution fees by Demand Draft at the time of joining for both diploma and fellowship courses. These are the maximum fees that any unaided institute can charge. However, any unaided institute is free to offer any amount of concession, or it can decide not to charge any fees, as per the institute policy. The above fees may be amended by appropriate authorities and intimated from time to time.

At the time of joining, the candidates will have to pay an additional non-refundable fee as below -

CPS fellowship courses –

1. Admission eligibility, enrollment (Fellowship) and E-learning Fees - Rs. 95000

2. CPS Fellowship courses Electronic Monitoring Device (EMD) Study Material Fees - Rs.75000

The admission eligibility, enrollment (Fellowship), and E-learning fees have to be paid through DD in favour of the "College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai" payable in Mumbai. EMD study material fees must be paid through DD in favour of "Paptronics Pvt. Ltd." payable at Pune.

CPS Diploma courses -

1. Admission eligibility, enrollment (Diploma) and E-learning Fees - Rs. 85,000

2. CPS Diploma courses Electronic Monitoring Device (EMD) Study Material Fees - Rs. 75,000
