Puducherry: Private medical colleges to provide 1,500 beds for COVID-19 patients

Puducherry -The private medical colleges in Puducherry have come forward to provide 300 beds each for the Corona Virus Disease (COVID 19) patients.
District collector T Arun in his order said that as many as 1500 beds would be available with the five private medical colleges here providing 300 beds each.

This was necessitated as the existing facilities saturated and there was an urgent need for more dedicated COVID hospitals to take care of the patients.
