During the NEET PG Counselling process, the PG medical aspirants will get the option to select Sadar Hospital Ranchi for MD, MS as well as DNB (Obs & Gynae) courses. It will be the first hospital in the locality to offer such a DNB course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

In this regard, the team visited Ranchi and conducted an inspection of several aspects. The Natboard team also reviewed the existing infrastructure and interviewed the applicants. Further, the team also conducted a detailed study of the selected faculty, guide-co-guide's certificate, qualification, experience, research journals and reports regarding the number of patients coming to the department.

After completion of DNB training, senior doctors will get recognised equivalent to a diploma. Further, the shortage of specialist doctors will also get resolved as during the course tenure, the doctors will have to train other doctors by staying in the hospital for three years.

The specialist doctors of the Sadar hospital will organise the classes for the students who will get admitted to the DNB course in the institute.
