BFUHS Announces Provisional Allotment List For NEET UG

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced the provisional allotment of seats for round 1 under NEET UG 2022. Details related to domicile have also been released.

The allotment list consists of Reg No, Roll No, NEET Marks, NEET Rank, Name, and F' Name. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below. Objections are invited from the candidates up to 04-011-2022, 10:00 am in person.

One last opportunity was granted to the candidates who have applied in more than one State other than Punjab to clarify their stand on this issue and submit a declaration by 2.11.2022 (up to 5.00 pm) by email. Out of 231 candidates who have applied in more than one state, 155 candidates have submitted the declaration, 76 candidates did not submit the declaration, and 4 candidates have submitted that they have applied in more than one state for the benefit of state quota seats. Hence 80 candidates are hereby debarred from Punjab State quota seats under NEET UG 2022.

The list of candidates who have not submitted their declaration and the list of candidates who have claimed to have applied for the benefit of residents in a state other than Punjab has also been released. Both lists are enclosed in the notices below.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG- 2022 and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.

2. Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses based on NEET-UG-2022 will not entitle the Candidate's eligibility. The Admission Committee will determine a candidate's merit for admission strictly per rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Therefore, the admission application form requires notification (s) published in this prospectus and other documents.

3. The Admission Committee shall conduct counseling/Admissions constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
