Dr NTR University of Health Sciences holds combined 22nd, 23rd convocation
Vijayawada: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) yesterday held a combined 22nd and 23rd convocation in Vijayawada. The event took place at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram at 11.30 AM.

The Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Biswabhusan Harichandan, made a virtual presence at the event. Dr C Palanivelu, Chairman, GEM Hospital and Research Centre and D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman and Founder, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, were the chief guest for the event. Both presented with honorary doctorates.
The New Indian Express, in their media report, has shared that 50 gold medals, 21 silver medals, 19 cash prizes to 58 students for the 22nd gathering were planned to be given. 57 gold medals, 22 silver were to be presented to 67 students for the 23rd convocation. Five students for the Ph.D. course were to receive honorary degrees.
The medical Dialogues team had earlier reported a similar convocation held at Dayanand Medical College Hospital. Ludhiana. It conducted its annual convocation ceremony on 7th August 2021 for MBBS batch 2015. 32 young graduates got their degrees.
