KNRUHS Issues Notice on 1st MBBS Old, New Regulations Exams, Check out details

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued a notification about the 1st MBBS (old regulations) examination and 1st MBBS (new regulation) examination. 

The 1st MBBS students who have been admitted during the academic years 2016- 2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 in the medical colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS who are failed, detained, or not appeared for the examinations in March 2022 and who have opted to continue with old regulations are eligible to appear 1st MBBS (old regulations) examinations in June 2022.

To appear for the 1st MBBS (old regulations) examinations, students should have 75% of attendance or more and score 35 % of marks and above in internal assessment examinations.

The 1st MBBS students who have been admitted during the academic year 2020- 21 in the medical colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS and students admitted before 2020-21 and opted for new regulation, who are failed, detained, or not appeared for the previously held examinations in March 2022 are eligible to appear 1st MBBS (new regulations) supplementary examinations in June 2022.

To appear for the 1st MBBS (new regulations) examinations, students should have 75% of attendance or more and score 50 % of marks and above in internal assessment examinations.

Important notification to the medical colleges for both old and new regulations -

1. Cutoff date for calculation of attendance percentage is 17th May 2022.

2. The uploading of the attendance and internal marks of the students between 26th May 2022 – 28th May 2022.

3. The students' confirmation date for attendance and internal assessment marks is 30th May 2022.

Important notification to the students for both old and new regulations -

1. For all courses, there will be digital valuation.

2. The exam will be conducted with single answer booklet with candidate-specific bar code on each page for the students appearing for examinations.

3. No additional answer book will be issued. They should answer all the questions in the single answer booklet only.

The students will have to pay the whole fee of Rs 1800, Rs 600 per subject backlog, Rs 300 for marks memo, and Rs 350 processing fee. This fee applies to both old and new regulations. The students appearing for the 1st time will have to pay the processing fee. 6th June 2022 to 11.06.2022 (Without Fine) - (No. of subjects * ₹600) + ₹300(Marks memo) + ₹350(Processing fee)

12th June 2022 to 13.06.2022 (With a fine of  ₹200) - [1800 or (No. of subjects * ₹600)] + ₹300(Marksmemo) + ₹350(Processing fee) + ₹200(Fine)

14th June 2022 to 15th June 2022 (With a fine of ₹100/- per day in addition to ₹200/-) - [1800 or (No. of subjects * ₹600)] + ₹300(Marks memo) +

₹350(Processing fee) + ₹200(Fine) + ₹100(Fine per day)

16th June 2022 to 18th June 2022 (Offline payment with a fine of ₹5000 in addition to the previous fine of ₹400) DD drawn in favor of "THE REGISTRAR, KNRUHS" payable at Warangal must reach the University on or before 18th June 2022, 4:00 pm - [1800 or (No. of subjects * ₹600)] + ₹300(Marks memo) + ₹350(Processing fee) + ₹400(Fine)+ ₹5000(Fine)

14th June 2022 to 15th June 2022 (With a fine of ₹100/- per day in addition to ₹200/-) - [1800 or (No. of subjects * ₹600)] + ₹300(Marks memo) +

₹350(Processing fee) + ₹200(Fine) + ₹100(Fine per day)

16th June 2022 to 18th June 2022 (Offline payment with a fine of ₹5000 in addition to the previous fine of ₹400) DD drawn in favor of "THE

The internal and final viva marks will not be included in the final exams total, and results will be processed excluding them. The internal marks (50%) are only considered for eligibility to write the final examination.
