MUHS invites applications for Modern Pharmacology Course for Homeopathy practitioners

Mumbai: The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for certificate course in modern Pharmacology for the homeopathy practitioners for 2020 academic session.

3. Eligibility for Admission

3.1: The candidate must be a registered Homoeopathic Practitioner in Maharashtra State under Maharashtra Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1960. The Practitioners who are registered other than Maharashtra state shall not be eligible for admission.

3.2: The candidate shall be registered and shall have renewed registration in due course of time. The Registration should have been renewed and valid till the last date of application.
The  candidates, whose registration is not renewed / valid, will not be considered for admission process.
3.3: Admissions will be given as per seniority of the registration number in the State Register given by the Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council, Mumbai.
3.4: Reservation policy will be followed for admission as per the existing rules of Maharashtra Government. The physically challenged candidates may claim reservation by producing valid certificate to that effect issued by the competent authority.
4. Application Form & Information Brochure :-

4.1: This information brochure for the Certificate Course of Modern Pharmacology is available on University website i.e., www.muhs.ac.in. Candidates are required to submit online application form to be filled with due care and required to submit the print out of the online submitted form along-with necessary documents to the University.
4.2: The candidates who had registered in Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council, Mumbai and whose registration number is from 01 to 60,000 are eligible to apply for the academic year 2020-21. The candidates, whose registration number is above 60,000, are not eligible and shall not apply for this year i.e. for the academic year 2020-21. Their applications will not be considered. Also, the already admitted candidates for the said course during previous the Academic Year will not be considered eligible for admissions during this process.
4.3: The candidates are required to submit the application form online by 21/08/2020. Therefore they are required to take out a print out of online submitted application form and there-after submit the said print out alongwith all necessary self-attested documents to the University by 31/08/2020. The forms received after the prescribed cut off date as well as which are incorrect, incomplete and wrongly filled will not be considered.
Application fees are non-refundable.
4.4: Each candidate is required to provide a minimum 01 & maximum 28 choices for admission centres. Option / Choices once given cannot be changed in any circumstances. The list of authorised & affiliated Colleges is attached herewith as "Annexure-C".
4.5: Reservation Rules for admission shall be as per existing policy and rules of Maharashtra State Government.
4.6: A candidate, who had been allotted admissions according to his / her choice(s), will not be allowed to change or opt for new choices. He/ She will have to take admission in the allotted College.
4.7: In case if a candidate denies to take admission as per his/her preference, then his/her application will not be considered for that particular academic year. He/ She will have to apply as afresh candidate in the next academic year. The vacancy created in such cases will be carried forward for the next candidate in merit.
4.8: The University reserves every right to amend, alter the complete or part rules at any stage without intimation to the candidates.
4.9: Representations against such changes shall not be entertained and will not be communicated separately.
5. Necessary Certificates

5.1: No original certificates are required to be submitted along with application form. Self attested copies of following certificates should be submitted with the application form

a) Copy of Birth Certificate / Matriculation or SSC passing certificate or School / College leaving certificate, having date of birth mentioned on it.

b) Degree / Diploma Certificate / PG Degree Certificate

c) Maharashtra Council of Homoeopathy Registration Certificate

d) Constitutional reservation claim:-

i) Caste Certificate

ii) Caste Validity Certificate

iii) Non Creamy Layer Certificate (for VJ/DT (A), NT (B), NT (C), NT (D), SBC , OBC,SEBC & EWS valid up to 31/03/2020.

iv) Physically handicap documentary proof.

e) NOC from Maharashtra Council of Homoeopathy (Original)


6. Preparation of Admission List & Admission of Candidates

6.1: The Competent Authority will scrutinise all forms received with the help of Admission Committee.

6.2: Collegewise admission list will be prepared as per seniority in registration alongwith constitutional reservation policy and choices given by the candidates.

6.3: The college wise admission list will be declared on the University website i.e. www.muhs.ac.in. as per time schedule decided by the University from time to time.

6.4: The candidates, whose name is included in the said list, are required to approach the concerned College for taking admission within prescribed time period.
