PG medical exams scheduled for May Postponed: WBUHS issues notice

Kolkata: Through a recent notification, the WBUHS has informed about the Postponement of Postgraduate Examinations for Broad Specialty Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) which were scheduled to start from 6th May 2021.

According to the notice, in reference to the Communication of the Director of Medical Education to the Officiating Vice Chancellor, WBUHS and NMC Advisory for all Medical colleges regarding Final Year Postgraduate students, it is hereby notified to all concerned Students/Teachers/Guardians:

The Examination scheduled to start from 6th May 2021, is being deferred for a period of TWO months or till further orders, considering the present Covid-19 pandemic situation.

The DME communication read, "In respect to the discussion and the approval of the Higher authorities, the Post Graduate Medical Examination conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences(WBUHS), is to be deferred for a period of 2 (Two) months or till further orders, considering the present pandemic COVID-19 situation."
