Ministry of Tribal Affairs Invites Applications on National Overseas Scholarship Scheme, AIIMS Patna issues notice
Patna- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna has issued an official notice referring to the Ministry of Tribal Affairs regarding the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS) for ST candidates for the Selection year 2025-26.
As per the notice, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, is inviting online applications for the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme (NOS) from ST candidates for the selection year 2025-26. The scholarship is awarded to students selected to pursue higher studies abroad at the Master's level, PhD and Post-Doctoral Research programmes.
Interested Candidates may apply online through the NOS official portal. The portal will remain open till 30th June 2025, 5:30 PM for submission of applications. The total number of slots for the Scholarship is 20. The applicant must be under 35 years as of April 1, 2025.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
1 For Ph.D. programs: Minimum 60% marks in the Master’s degree.
2For Master’s programs: Minimum 60% marks in the Bachelor's degree.
The National Overseas Scholarship [NOS] Portal is a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and every year, 20 fresh ST students are given scholarships for pursuing Master's Degree, Ph.D, and Post-Doctoral courses abroad. The applications are invited online on the National Overseas Portal.
