NBE Extends deadline of Thesis, Exam Application Submission for DNB Final Exam October 2024 Session

New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has extended the last date for submission of the thesis and  Exam Application for the DNB Final Exam October 2024 admission session.

According to the notice issued by the NBE, the last date for submission of application for DNB Final (Theory & Practical) Exam, October 2024 has been extended till 30-09-2024 and thesis acna be submitted till today 11:55 pm by the concerned NBE trainees.

As per NBE norms, Thesis submission is essential for all DNB trainees towards the partial fulfillment of eligibility for Diplomate of National Board (DNB).

It was informed that as per NBEMS Public Notice dated 31-07-2024, candidates of Post MBBS DNB Broad Specialty 2021 admission session, who are desirous to appear in the DNB Final Theory examination - October 2024 session are required to submit their Thesis by 20-08-2024.

"Meanwhile, NBEMS is in receipt of requests both from trainees and Accredited Institutions to extend the last date for submission of Thesis, as several trainees have not been able to complete thesis due to multiple reasons. NBEMS has decided to extend the last date for submission of Thesis for Post MBBS DNB Broad Specialty 2021 admission session candidates till 28-09-2024 (11:55PM)," stated the NBE in its notice.

"All trainees and accredited institutions are informed that, no further extension shall be given, and those trainees who do not submit their Thesis by 28-09-2024 (11:55PM), shall be rendered ‘ineligible’ to appear in their DNB Final Theory Examination, October 2024 session, "the NBE said.

"The last date for submission of application for DNB Final (Theory & Practical) Exam, October 2024 is accordingly extended till 30-09-2024 (11:55PM)," the notice added.
