NEET 2020 postponed; to be held on 13th September: HRD Ministry Decision
New Delhi: The much-awaited decision on the conduction of NEET 2020 is finally here. The Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ''Nishank'' has announced that the NEET 2020 will be held on September 13th. The announcement was released based on a report submitted by a panel of experts.
Approximately 16 lakh have registered for NEET this year.
This was announced in a tweet by the Minister wherein he stated, "NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept"
Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone #JEE & #NEET examinations. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept. pic.twitter.com/klTjtBxvuw

Recently, a panel was constituted to take a call on the matter and give its recommendations by review the situation for conducting medical and engineering entrance exams NEET and JEE amid concerns over a spike in COVID-19 cases.
