NEET 2021: Here is how to challenge Provisional Answer Keys, Recorded Responses, Scanned Image of OMR Answer Sheet

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Provisional Answer Keys, Recorded Responses, and Scanned Image of OMR Answer Sheet for NEET 2021. The candidates who wish to challenge the NEET answer key 2021 can do so by tomorrow, i.e. 17 October 2021 (Sunday) till 09:00 P.M.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses this academic year 2021 was conducted in pen and paper mode on 12 September 2021 (Sunday) from 02:00 to 05:00 P.M in 202 cities at 3858 Centres throughout the country and abroad.

The National Testing Agency has now uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Responses as well as Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheets of NEET 2021 on the official Website https://neet.nta.nic.in/, for interested candidates to challenge. The procedure mentioned below for the challenge of Answer Keys may be used.

A scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet has already been sent to the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2021.

The Candidates, who have objections to the Answer Key(s) and/or Recorded Responses, may challenge the same by following the procedures (as attached). The details of the same are as follows:

The payment of the processing fee may be made through, debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytmupto17 October 2021 (upto 10:00 P.M.).No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee online. The Challenges will not be accepted through any other mode (than online).

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. No challenge will be entertained after 17 October 2021 (09:00 P.M.).

The Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key is mentioned below:

1. Please go to website https://neet.nta.nic.in/

2. Click 'Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)'

3. Select the Test Booklet Code.

4. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter SecurityPin as displayed and Submit.

5. You will see the following Questions are in sequential order:

NEET (UG) - 2021

50+50+50+50 Questions

Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology

6. The number next to the Question under the column 'Correct Option' stands for the most appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA.

7. If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box

8. You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select 'Choose File' and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).

9. After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoologyfor NEET (UG) - 2021, 'Save your Claim' and move to the next screen.

10. You will see a screen displaying your challenges.

11. Click on 'Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally'.

12. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹1000/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

13. After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

The Procedure for Challenge of OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses are mentioned below:

1. Please go to the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.

2. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and Submit.

3. Select the "OMR Challenge" in the left pane.

4. Click on the OMR Challenge Link.

5. You will see the following Questions are in sequential order:

NEET (UG) - 2021

50+50+50+50 Questions

Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology

6. Select Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.

7. The number next to the Question under the column 'Captured Response as per OMR Sheet' stands for the option opted by the Candidates in the OMR Answer Sheets.

8. Once you select any Question for Challenge, you will see three options under the column 'Candidate's Claim'.

9. If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the 'Candidate's Claim' column.

10. After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2021, scroll down, 'Submit', and move to the next screen.

11. You will see a screen displaying your challenges.

12. Click on 'Submit and Pay Fee Finally'.

13. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question/grade challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

14. After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.
