Last year, the NEET-UG 2021 exam was scheduled to be held in August 1. However, due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the exam got postponed and was rescheduled for September 12. Even after the examination process was over, the counselling for MBBS admission got delayed because of several pending legal procedures before the High Court and Supreme Court.
Medical Dialogues had recently reported that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the schedule for NEET-UG examination next week. However, there was no word regarding the date for the exam.
