NEET Counselling 2020: MCC notifies on surrender of Round 1 MBBS seats

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed regarding the surrender of Round 1 seats concerning NEET Counselling 2020 for MBBS and BDS admissions this year.

All the concerned medical, dental colleges are hereby informed that the MCC is in receipt of many requests from colleges and candidates who want to surrender the seat of Round-1 due to Non-upgradation in the Second Round such candidates can surrender their 1st Round seats at college-level till 05:00 PM of 2nd December 2020.

 If any 1st Round candidate does not resign by 2nd Dec 2020, He/ She will not be able to resign thereafter and will be treated as a candidate of 2nd Round and rules of 2nd Round will apply.

Furthermore, this is for information to all the Candidates and the Participating colleges that the downloading of allotment letter facility is now available on www.MCC.nic.in  website and also reporting facility at the college is also open.

MCC had earlier informed about the removal of seats in the Round 2 NEET Counselling session for MBBS admissions this academic year.

All the concerned MBBS candidates are hereby informed that the MBBS seats from Raja Rajeswari Medical College Bengaluru have now been withdrawn with immediate effect.

This comes in the background of the affiliation issue of the Raja Rajeswari Medical College with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
