Lucknow: Through a recent notice, the Uttar Pradesh Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) has invited applications for MD, MS, PG Diplom and MDS courses for this academic year PG medical and dental admissions.

All the concerned candidates seeking admissions for said courses in UP based medical and dental colleges can view the eligibility criteria, application process, admission process mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria for Admissions:

 1. Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS Course from the State Govt Medical College/Institutes/Universities and recognized Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Universities of U.P are eligible for admission in state Quota  Seats in Govt Medical Colleges/Institutes/Universities of U.P through NEET PG 2021/NEET MDS 2021 counseling and also eligible for admission in Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Universities of U.P.

2. Candidates who have completed their one year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship on or before by 31st March 2021for MDS and 30th June 2021 for MD/MS/Diploma and have qualified NEET MDS 2021, NEET PG 2021.

3. Candidates who have already taken admission on their basis of earlier U.P.P.G.M.E.E/A.I.P.G.M.E.E/NEET PG is not eligible for the seats of Govt medical Colleges/State Universities until he/she completes and passes the course where he/she is presently admitted. However, such a candidate shall be eligible if he/she has resigned from the said course before for NEET PG 2021 notification date. 23th Feb. 2021 and for NEET MDS 2021 notification 26-10-2020, his/her registration has been accepted by the competent authority of the Medical/Dental College or the Vice-Chancellor of has state universities and he/she refunded the salary/stipend received by him/her during the said course along with the fulfillment of the terms and condition laid down in the format of the Bond of Rs 5 Lacs at the time of admission.

4. Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from Santosh Medical College (Deemed University), Ghaziabad (admitted after 2007) /AMU/ BHU are not eligible for admission in state Government Quota Seats. Such candidates are eligible for admission only in Private Medical colleges/Institutes/Universities.

5. Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from outside of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admissions only in Private Medical colleges/Institutes/Universities.

6. Only those NEET qualified and online registered PMHS candidates, who have been given NOC under the policy framed by the Medical & Health Department, U.P and whose names are included in the state merit list prepared after giving due weightage as per the norms will be eligible for the NEET PG 2021 U.P Counseling.

Application Process:

Step-1: Online Registration

Candidates can apply online by visiting the website https://upneet.gov.in

1. For registration candidates will use his/her NEET-PG roll no. and email ID (same that was used for registration in NEET PG -2021/ NEET MDS-2021) for login into the system and follow the instructions on the screen. The registration process will complete in two steps:

(a) Registration Fee submission- Candidates have to deposit an online registration fee (nonrefundable) of Rs.3000/- (Three Thousand Only) through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. After successful payment candidate will get client Transaction no on his/her registered mobile number and email-id.

Rs 3000/- (Three Thousand Only) + Bank Charges Inclusive for Both 1st and 2nd counseling to be done by all Initial Registration step

(b) Registration Details- After paying the registration fee, candidates have to mandatorily register online for appearing in the counseling. Personal Details of the candidates will be taken from PG NEET-2021 data. Candidates have to enter his/her domicile, category, sub-category, in-service (PMHS) employment status and MBBS passed from, etc.

Will be eligible only for Private Colleges

• During the registration process you will create a Password.

• For Login: Use Roll Number and your Password.

• The same password will also be used later for locking the choices.

• Review all the information before the final submission of the registration form.

• After successful submission, the registration number gets generated and will be sent to the registered mobile number and email-id.

• Download registration Slip mandatorily for Future Reference.

• Registration Slip will have to be shown at the nodal center at the time of reporting for admission.

Step-2: Online Security Money Payment

#Check your eligibility before payment

1. Deposit security money through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card before choice filling.

2. Candidates failing to deposit mandatory security deposit will be debarred from the choice filling exercise and further will not be allowed for a process for counseling.

3. Download receipt of security money for future reference. Receipt of security money will have to be shown at the nodal center at the time of reporting for admission.

4. Choice filling option will be available only after deposition of security money

Step-3:- Merit Declaration

1. For Inter-se rank in State merit list reference shall be NEET-PG 2021 ranking.

2. Final merit list will be prepared after providing weightage to in-service (PMHS) candidates as per the provisions of Govt. Order No. I/104942/2021. (Displayed on website.

Step-4:- Online Choice Filling

Visit website https://upneet.gov.in

1. Click on choice filling.

2. Choice filling procedure:

a.Login for choice filling by using NEET Roll number and password created at the time of registration.

b.Choice filling can be done on several sessions but remember to save and continue otherwise you'll lose your work. You can change your choice as many times as you want till the final locking.

c.Choice filling will not be complete till you Finally submit and Lock.

d.No changes will be possible after locking the choice.

e.Choice Locking is compulsory, if not locked online allotment will not occur.

3. After the scheduled period of choice filling, seat allotment will be done by the online process on a merit cum option basis.

4. Seat Allotment list will be declared on https://upneet.gov.in.

5. It is advised to independently gather admission information for private colleges in which you wish to opt.

Step-5:- Seat Allotment:

1. log in to the website. Your seat allotment status will be displayed.

2. Download the Allotment letter for reporting at the designated nodal center.

3. (a) If Seat Allotted (First Round): Incase

i. Candidate does not join or after joining resigns from the seat, security money will be forfeited. For participation in the second round of counseling, security money will have to be deposited again.

ii. Candidate joins the college in the first round but wants to upgrade his/her seat, he/she will remain eligible for second counseling and can fill the choices for the second round of counseling.

a. If he/she is allotted any other seat or same seat again, then the previous allotment will be automatically get canceled

b. It is mandatory to join on the newly allotted seat. (even if it is the same seat). If he/she does not join in the new (re-shuffled) seat, the new allotment will get canceled.

(b) If Seat Allotted (Second Round): Incase

i.Candidate does not join or resign after joining: the security money will be forfeited.

ii. Candidates who were allotted any seat in the first/second round of counseling are eligible for the MopUp Round of counseling.

4. Person with Disabled Category candidates is essentially required to be physically present before a medical board constituted by the Government of India as per notification dated 15/02.19, List of Centres who will issue Disability Certificates as per 21 Benchmark Disabilities given under RPWD Act-2106 (Annexure-II) and as per MCI notification 04/02/19.

5. Candidate eligible for the reserved category will be given admission as per the rules of the state government, applicable on the date of counseling.

6. OBC Candidates covered by the provisions of the creamy layer will not be entitled to the benefits of OBC Category.

7. Candidates who fail to produce required original documents at the time of admission or if any, concealment of falsification of facts comes in to the light at the time of admission and thereafter during the course of study will not be entitled to any benefit of having appeared in the entrance examination and/or any benefit of acquiring a seat subsequently. Legal Action would be taken against such candidates.

8. Candidates will be checked for their identity at the time of admission. If it does not match it will be counted as unfair means and their candidature will be cancelled. Additional legal action would be taken against such candidates.

9. If a candidate does not participate in online counseling or does not join the allotted seat by the due date he/she shall forfeit any right of admission on the basis of said counseling/allotment.

10. The option once exercised by the candidate in the counseling cannot be altered under any circumstances.

11. No request for re-allotment of seats already allotted in the first and second rounds will be entertained.

Mop Up Round

a. If seats are left unallotted at the end of the second round of online counseling, then a "mop-up" round of

Allotment will be organized at a notified date, after due publicity. The purpose of the mop-up round of seat allotment will be to ensure that there is no loss of PG seats in the current academic year, Seats will be offered to eligible candidates strictly according to their position in the NEET PG 2021/NEET UPPG 2021 merit list as applicable.

b. The eligibility for the mop-up round:-

• Separate registration with Rs.2000/- is mandatory for the Mop-Up round and only these candidates will be included in the mop-up merit list.

• Candidates who are admitted/allotted but not joined/resigned to any seat in UP will not be eligible for participation.

• Any candidate who has taken admission in any PG course in any Medical/Dental College in India also will not be eligible for participation.

• Candidates will have to produce certificates in original as well as one self-attested photocopies of all the documents.

Admission Procedure:

1. Admission of the candidate to various PG Degree/Diploma courses will be given by the Principal/Dean/Director of the respective Medical Colleges /Institutes/Universities as per state merit.

2. Government College:

a. A candidate who has been allotted a seat in a particular Government Medical/Dental College/Institute/University shall have to complete all admission formalities including fees deposition, by the notified date at the College/Institute/university as the case may be.

b. Those who fail to do so will lose their claim for admission.

c. Bond of Rs. 100/- stamp paper will be made to the effect that in case a student leaves the seat after the 2nd counseling, or at any time during the course of study, then the candidate will deposit an amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Five lakhs) as penalty.

3. Private College:

a. Medical: A candidate who has been allotted a seat in a particular Private Medical College/Institute/University shall have to complete all the admission formalities including depositing the prescribed fees, by the date notified for this purpose at Nodal Center, See the list of Nodal Centers as Annexure-!

b. Dental: A candidate who has been allotted a seat in a particular Private Dental College/Institute/University shall have to complete all the admission formalities including depositing the prescribed fees, by the date notified in the allotted Dental College

c. Those who fail to do so will lose their claim for admission.

d. Bond on Rs. 100/- stamp paper will be made to the effect that in case after admission:

i. Candidate leaving the seat after the mop-up counseling or at any time before completion of the course, will deposit the total amount of tuition fee of the entire course.

ii. Candidate leaving the seat at least two days before Mop-up round then only his security deposit and fee deposit at admission will be forfeited.

4. Following documents in Original and photocopy (one set self-attested) will be required for admission :

a. High School Certificate as proof of date of birth.

b. Mark sheet of all professional examinations.

c. MBBS/BDS passing out certificate or degree.

d. Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate.

e. Permanent Registration Certificate (U.P. State/MCI/DCI).

f. Employers relieving certificate if employed.

g. SC/S.T/O.B.C/EWS/Physically handicapped certificate, if applicable.

h. Copy of Allotment letter (as downloaded)

i. Admit Card of NEET PG 2021.

5. All original documents will remain deposited at the admission center.
