NEET PG: NMC approval to 233 additional PG medical seats in UP

Among these 2337 new PG medical seats, 233 seats have been added to the PG seat matrix in Uttar Pradesh, according to the data.

College-wise break-up of newly NMC-approved PG Medical Seats in Uttar Pradesh:

As per the data shared by the Apex Medical Education Regulatory Body, NMC, 233 new PG medical seats have been added to 21 medical colleges. The college-wise break-up of the newly added PG medical seats is as follows:

(1) Autonomous State Medical College Siddharthnagar: The NMC data revealed that 6 MD seats in Community Medicine and Biochemistry have been added to Autonomous State Medical College Siddharthnagar.

(2) Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur: NMC has granted permission for 9 MD/MS seats in MD Biochemistry, MD Pathology, and MD/MS Anatomy at the medical college in Fatehpur.

(3) Autonomous State Medical College Society Hardoi: Altogether 6 MD seats have been added in Physiology and Community Medicine at the medical college in Hardoi.

(4) Autonomous State Society Medical College Mirzapur: 6 MD seats have been added in Biochemistry, Physiology, and Community Medicine at the Autonomous State Society Medical College Mirzapur.

(5) Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow: A total of 4 MD Anaesthesiology seats have been added to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow.

(6) Government Allopathic Medical College Banda UP: Altogether 4 MD Pathology seats have been added to Government Allopathic Medical College Banda UP.

(7) Government Institute of Medical Sciences Greater Noida (Greater Noida Medical College): NMC has granted for adding 2 MS Ophthalmology seats to Government Institute of Medical Sciences Greater Noida.

(8) Government Medical College Firozabad: A total of 24 MD/MS seats have been added to Government Medical College Firozabad in MS Orthopaedics, MS General Surgery, MD Anathesiology, MD General Medicine, MS Ob-Gyn, and MD Paediatrics.

(9) Government Medical College Rampur Basti: NMC has granted permission for adding 10 new PG medical seats at Government Medical College Rampur Basti in specialties including MD Pharmacology, MD Biochemistry, MD/MS Anatomy.

(10) Government Medical College Shahjahanpur UP: Shahjahanpur-based Government Medical College has received NMC permission for 30 new PG medical seats in specialties including MD Physiology, MD Community Medicine, MD Pathology, MD Biochemistry, MD/MS Anatomy, MD Pharmacology, MD Microbiology, MD - Forensic Medicine/Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, and MD Paediatrics.

(11) Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital Varanasi Uttar Pradesh: NMC has granted permission for adding 8 new PG medical seats to Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital Varanasi in MD Radiodiagnosis, MD Radiotherapy/Radiation Oncology, and MD Anathesiology.

(12) King George Medical University Lucknow: A total of 20 new PG medical seats have been added to King George Medical University Lucknow in specialties including MD Sports Medicine, MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, MD Anathesiology, MD Pathology, and MD Radiotherapy/Radiation Oncology.

(13) LLRM Medical College Meerut: NMC has added 2 MD Respiratory Medicine seats at LLRM Medical College Meerut.

(14) Mahamaya Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College Ambedkarnagar: Altogether 20 new PG medical seats have been added to Mahamaya Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College Ambedkarnagar in specialties including MD Paedistrics, MD General Medicine, MS Ophthalmology, MD Pathology, MS General Surgery, and MD Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.

(15) Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College Jhansi: NMC has added 9 new PG medical seats to Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College Jhansi in MD Radiation Oncology, MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and MD Radio Diagnosis.

(16) Moti Lal Nehru Medical College Allahabad: NMC has granted permission for 3 MD Psychiatry seats to Moti Lal Nehru Medical College Allahabad.

(17) Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College Bahraich UP: Altogether 10 new PG medical seats in specialties including MS ENT, MD/MS Anatomy, and MD Biochemistry have been added to Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College Bahraich UP.

(18) S N Medical College Agra: NMC has added 16 new PG medical seats in specialties including MD Anathesiology, MD Radio Diagnosis, MD General Medicine, and MS General Surgery at S N Medical College Agra.

(19) Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow: Altogether 31 new PG medical seats in specialties including MD Emergency Medicine, MD Hospital Administration, MS Orthopaedics, MS Ophthalmology, MD Radiodiagnosis/Radiotherapy, MD Pathology, MD Immuno Haematology & Blood Transfusion, MD Microbiology and MD Anathesiology have been added to Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow.

(20) Super Speciality Paediatric Hospital & Post Graduate Teaching Institute Noida: NMC has granted permission for adding 9 new PG medical seats in MD Paediatrics, MD Immunology Haematology and Blood Transfusion, MD Biochemistry, and MD Microbiology to Super Speciality Paediatric Hospital & Post Graduate Teaching Institute Noida.

(21) Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College Society Jaunpur: NMC has added 4 new PG medical seats in MS Orthopaedics and MS General Surgery at Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College Society Jaunpur.
